7. (Special) Your unarmed fist attacks automatically scale off your weapon with the highest base damage.

8. (NEW - Unique Special): Unlock the Beast King Transformation. Requirements: Kill 100,000 beings with your fists.

Staring at the stat, Rael let out a sigh.

These bastards really want me to kill monsters or people with my fists, don’t they?

Since it offered a transformation, he didn’t mind doing it.

Therefore, he hummed in satisfaction and stopped in front of a coffee shop.

He stepped inside and ordered a black coffee, then sat beside the window.

A few moments later, he got the coffee. Of course, he chugged it all down, and just like that, he felt recharged.

Now that I’m functioning, I guess I should go and employ myself? Rael smiled.

He was going to join the Blazing Sun Knight Brigade.

His intentions hadn’t changed.

If possible, he would rank up, become a captain or higher, and then cripple the Blazing Sun faction from the inside.

According to his memories, there was a portal room, one that housed all the worlds the Blazing Sun faction had conquered. If destroyed, it would be a pain in the ass to reconnect everything again.

At the same time, there were a few people he wanted to get rid of.

One of the Five Seats would be ideal... or the people who are spreading the Blazing Sun religion. There must be a reason why there are only two of them, not more.

Of course, if it didn’t work out as planned, then he’d simply enter a random battlefield and teleport away.

So with that in mind, Rael made his way toward the Silver Palace.

(A few minutes later.)

In front of him was the back entrance of the Silver Palace, however, it was also the recruitment zone.

There were hundreds of people lined up, all waiting for their turn.

From the looks of things, the line was moving at around the pace of one person every five minutes.

So at this rate, he would arrive at the front of the line next Christmas.

That’s why he stepped forward, walking along the side to skip the entire line.

"Huh? What are you doing?"

"Get back in line, you need to wait like the rest of us!"

Rael ignored them, and after a few moments, he arrived at the very front.

A bearded instructor stared at him with a deep frown, and he had a name tag on his breast pocket, which read ’Gideon.’

Rael read that, then nodded at the recruiter.

"Hello, Gideon. I’d like to join the Blazing Sun Knight Brigade."

Gideon’s brows twitched. "Were you born yesterday? Get your ass back in line!"

Rael raised his hands. "I’m willing to join and deploy right away."

Hearing that, Gideon’s ears perked up.

"You wish to deploy right away? You do realize there’s a two-month trial period to teach you everything you need to know, right?" Gideon asked, not convinced. "We are willing to send you in, but you’d just be cannon fodder."

"I know how to fight," Rael said plainly. "All that training you’re offering would be nothing but a waste of time."

"Hmm..." Gideon fell into thought.

He stroked his beard, then spoke. "I believe... the only active war zones are those on the far end of the universe. They’re reserved for Grade 3 fighters, and from what I can see... you’re not exactly—"

"That works for me," Rael interjected. "Sign me up and send me in."

"Uhh..." Gideon didn’t know how to react, so he simply passed over a pamphlet.

"Sign your name here...?"

Rael took the pamphlet like a champ, then picked up the pen and wrote his name down. Obviously, he didn’t use the name Rael. He used his usual undercover name, Aster.

"Is that enough?" Rael asked, handing the pamphlet back.

"There’s usually an introductory period. You can meet your squad there. Since you’re so early... I can place you in the Starlight Division. They’re going to deploy in a few hours. I’d recommend you go meet them... otherwise, they might think you’re a spy."

Too bad spies don’t exist in the Silver City given how local everyone is... except me.

"Makes sense," Rael replied with a nod. "So where’s my badge? Do I get one?"

Gideon slowly reached for his desk drawer, then pulled out a single golden pin. Then he attached it to a piece of ornate black leather, and in the next moment, he infused a tiny bit of his mana into it, causing a name to be etched into the tiny golden pin.

Like that, Gideon tossed the badge to the other end of the table, which slid over to Rael.

The name Aster was etched into the golden pin, and after a brief moment of admiration, Rael pinned it to his collar.

"That’s pretty neat," Rael remarked. "So is this like my identification now?"

"Are you a spy?" Gideon asked plainly.

"No," Rael replied instantly.

"Then it’s your badge of identification. The single golden pin is your rank, which is obviously the lowest. You can go up to three golden pins, and if you’re qualified, you can get a fourth pin, at which point you would become the captain of a division," Gideon explained.

He pointed to the side entrance. "Room number 16. Your captain’s name is Frederick. Be nice and don’t act like a jackass, since unlike me, he has every right to discipline you."

Rael chuckled. "I’m sure we’ll get along."

"For your own sake, I hope you do..." Gideon said, then waved at Rael.

Taking that as his cue to leave, Rael proceeded toward the side entrance, and after a brief walk, arrived in front of room number 16.

After a brief pause, he swung open the door.
