Rael hummed in satisfaction as his damage increased significantly—his HP and MP even more so.
But there were still some things left to check.
This was a rare one, and something he had only heard about from the people who fought level 500 and above boss monsters.
Since he was an innocent, pay-to-win boss, it was an amazing thing to have early on.
Now there's only one thing left... Rael's gaze traveled to a certain set of popups.
Premium Fusion [Special-Unique]
—Merge two skills or two items into a new, unique version—currency required increases with rarity.
Premium Summon [Special-Unique]
—Summon any previously defeated monster, boss, or NPC by spending currency.
Premium Insight [Special-Unique]
—Pay currency to reveal detailed information about any enemy, object, or hidden mechanic.
Great, Great, Meh, Rael noted.
However, he wasn't blind.
Summons were cool and all, but skill fusion?
I would be a complete idiot if I didn't take it. Rael snickered and selected the first perk.
And of course, Rael used it straight away.
Thankfully, no skills were off-limits, and his items were fine too.
Therefore, he did a simple combo.
If an epic skill, as well as an uncommon skill, cost that much, then he was a bit fucked with the higher ranked ones.
However, he noticed there was a skill lying around—one that he hadn't upgraded in a while.
And by now, its effects had grown pretty nicely.

Increases attack accuracy by 44% and damage by 83% for all weapons.
Since he hadn't bought it yet, that also meant he could do something interesting.
Rael pressed "Yes" in anticipation, and immediately, he saw the skills disappear from his status before seemingly floating into the Fusion screen.
He saw two orbs swirling around until finally they fused into one, floating back into his status screen.
But not before alerting him of the new skill.
Rael inspected it, excited.

Increases attack accuracy by 25% and damage by 30% for all weapons. If the weapon is infused with the Fire element, damage increases by 90% instead.
It removed the long range Fireball completely, as well as reset the level.
However, he wasn't unhappy, as now his Violin Blade attacks, if infused with Fire, would do so much more damage.
He was about to check his status screen again when he realized he was nearly falling off the cliff.
You son of a bitch... Rael jumped off the Hover Bike and grabbed it by its back end, making sure it didn't float away into the water.
Note to self: if you get a cheap flying bike, expect the fucking autopilot to try to kill you, Rael grumbled, as he tinkered with the bike a little bit.
In the midst of his tinkering, Rael glanced toward the other side of the cliff, where, just barely, he could make out a faint golden light through the dense fog.
So that's the lighthouse? I'm surprised it's still operating, Rael wondered, as he finally set up the navigation correctly and turned on Static mode.
Of course, he bought himself a 5-kilometer-long rope, as he assumed that was the rough distance to the other side.
Rael found a few sturdy rocks and tied the rope around them.

Rael bought 10 of these cute little landmines and placed them where the monsters could step.
Finally, he was finished, so he jumped back onto the Hover Bike and slowly began levitating toward the lighthouse.
It left solid ground and steadily levitated off the cliff.
Thank fuck for that... Actually, never mind. No jinxing cheap stuff, Rael thought, when all of a sudden, the fog, which had been pretty strong earlier, now grew even stronger, completely obscuring his vision.
Nonetheless, the Hover Bike surprisingly kept going forward, and from what he could tell, the rope was still tied tightly.
A shiver ran down Rael's spine. This is a sketchy adrenaline rush... I'm definitely taking the long way back.
The Serpents? Rael tilted his head before looking down.
As he did, two pairs of glowing green eyes, the size of massive boulders, greeted him.
Then, he saw a pillar of water shoot up in front of him—and suddenly, a blue serpent shot upward, its body traveling swiftly along the water pillar.
Fuck. Rael immediately took matters into his own hands as he grabbed hold of the Hover Bike and manually controlled the steering.
He swerved away from the water pillar, while at the same time catching a glimpse of the serpent's massive body.
And of course, he managed to inspect the massive sashimi.
But at the same time, he kind of wished he'd stayed in the dark.
