Amelia began to cough as her Mana reached 0. She kept casting the spells, ignoring the Mana exhaustion debuff.
Tears fell down her face as she shouted.
"Phlease whake up!!"
Nyssa ran towards the two of them, still confused about what happened as the cover obscured her view.
As she got close and saw the torn-apart body of Trevor, she fell to her knees, she could feel her heartbeat rising rapidly.
Even though there were so many deaths, seeing the person she bonded with all this time lay there on the floor made her feel unwell.
She heard the earlier sound of fabric being torn, however, she had no clue that its source was Trevor’s skin.
Once that thought hit her, she could feel something going up through her throat. The ground below her was covered in her barf as she broke down crying.
The other party was also mourning the dead as almost half of them were wiped out.
Gloppy recalled Slimy Pearl and grouped up the fallen and wounded Climbers into two separate groups with the slime summons.
Only now did Leo reach the scene, seeing the dead bodies from Adam’s party and Trevor’s.
He ran up to him, his eyes shaky and watery as he got closer. Their party tank’s body was already cold, not even getting a chance to say his final words.
However what was left on his face, was a wide smile, almost as if he was just asleep and having a great dream.
Tears that were running down Leo’s face stopped, and instead of sadness, a different feeling overcame him.
Anguish, despair, anger, anxiety.
All of those feelings that he felt ever since Heins was killed now exploded as he stared at Amelia.

She was hitting his shoulders, which annoyed him enough to give her attention.

While talking, both of them sensed something approaching them, and doing so fast.
Solaris stopped and placed his sister on the ground behind him before he took out the sword from his sheath.
Neither of them could expect what happened in the next 2 seconds.

And before he could react, the summoner swung his sword.
In an instant, he ended up behind his enemy and held his sword up, ready to sink it into his wounded sister.
All of that in two seconds, the rage-fueled Leo pushed himself past any limit he had as his heart beat unevenly.
Solaris’s arm got cut off and fell to the ground due to his earlier strike as he screamed in pain.
Leo himself was also internally screaming as the immense pain made him bleed from his eyes, nose, and mouth.

Ionara screamed as the sword cladded in shining light was slowly sinking into her back.
Her screams felt soothing to the summoner, as he was about to finish the job, Gloppy pushed him to the ground and snapped him of that murderous trance.

He looked at the scene around them, the split ground, wounded Solaris, and terrified Ionora.
His eyes shook and he let go of the sword in his grip.
Only now did they were, as Hydra’s cave was right in front of them.
Sinister energy was being emitted from it, almost as if the corrupt energy of Solaris and Ionara was condensed a hundredfold inside.
Pulsar emerged inside and as soon as he realized the situation, he jumped to smash Leo to bits.
"What did you do to them!"
Gloppy tried to block Pulsar’s attack however his strength was far superior to his siblings, and the slime was sent flying across the whole battlefield.
Leo soon followed as he got kicked in his ribcage and flew the same way as his Warlord.
"Are you okay?!"
The muscular man rushed to aid his younger sister, tears welling up in his eyes as he looked at the wounds across her entire body.
With a single-hand movement, he picked up his sister and held her in his arms like a princess.
"Don’t worry now, I’m here for you."
Then he took a few steps to Solaris and spat on him.
"I told you to take care of her and look at you now. Fix yourself and come."
From far away, the summoner could see the conjurer pick up his severed arm and force it back into place, the void emerged from his body and worked as needle and thread to sew the arm back to his body.
An angry expression on his face as he didn’t talk back to Pulsar.
’There is no way we can defeat them like this...’
However, they didn’t seem interested in them anymore, as a bright purple light came from the cave.
It shone brighter and brighter until...
A huge explosion split the mountain the fake Hydra called its home in two.
All three of the corrupt humans ran in an instant towards it, but he couldn’t tell why that was.
They were too far away to make out the expression on their face or what they were saying.
And he wasn’t planning to move at all.
<Leo! Are you okay?!>
’Yes...’
He checked if his limbs were working and how severe the damage was, before checking on his Warlord.
Neither of them was injured since Pulsar missed all their vital spots.
’Now tell me, what was the thing that took me over here?’
Leo looked at the oooze, the two hearts went back to sync as soon as the adrenaline wore off.
