Re-Overlord: I Can Acquire Anything! Chapter 179

"Honey, this is it... the Ancient Seal that once closed the connection to both the God Realm and Spirit Realm."

Evernight’s voice was soft and sweet as she pointed toward a mysterious, towering door embedded within a white marble cliff. Runes older than civilization pulsed across its surface, glowing faintly like slumbering stars.

They had come straight here for a reason — to restore the seal that had begun to weaken after centuries of holding firm.

With her hand still wrapped in his, Igaris gave a slight nod and stepped forward with her. Together, they passed through the entrance.

The moment they crossed the threshold, the world shifted.

Igaris found himself no longer standing on solid ground. He was floating in a vast, boundless void. Silence ruled here, and space itself seemed suspended in a moment outside of time.

His gaze drifted upward.

There, stretching into the dark void, stood four towering silhouettes. Ancient titanic mechas, each one impossibly massive, each one frozen mid-gesture with colossal arms raised high, maintaining the structure of the realm around them.

Igaris took in the sight quietly.

He had seen these constructs before — in his past life. So the shock did not grip him. But even with memory on his side, the awe returned. It always did.

They were masterworks beyond imagination.

Each mecha pulsed with its own field of divine energy, held together by machinery and willpower no mortal could replicate. What kind of genius could have designed and created these? The Architect who envisioned them must have been at a level far beyond the gods themselves.

There was simply no other explanation.

These were not machines.

Each of them formed a part of the Great Seal that isolated two entire realms from the mortal world. Their mere existence defined a level of comprehension that bordered on the divine.

"It’s amazing..." Igaris murmured, eyes still raised. "Your father was truly a great man."

There was no flattery in his voice. Just quiet reverence.

He was not a man easily impressed, yet even he could not help but admire the one who had created such a miracle.

Evernight’s eyes glistened as she looked at him, her heart warming from his words.

"My father always said creation is the proof of one’s soul. These four were his life’s work. But now... it’s up to us to restore them."

Igaris nodded once more.

He stepped forward, floating steadily toward the central core of the seal, where all four mechas linked. His aura began to surge, responding to the lingering divine resonance.

Not when so much rested on their shoulders.

Not when the world had just been reclaimed.

And not when the hand he held was that of the woman he loved.

As soon as Igaris placed his palm against one of the ancient machines, a deep, echoing hum resonated through the endless void. The sound rippled through space itself, like a heartbeat awakening after countless millennia of silence.

Above the heads of the Titanic Constructs, a radiant eye formed in the sky, glowing with divine brilliance.

It was the Architect’s Eye.

Igaris felt his mind connect with it instantly.

Information surged into his consciousness. He could now see everything. The inner mechanisms of the colossal machines were laid bare before him — the sacred formation patterns, the spiritual circuits, the complex mana veins carved into the framework, even the smallest fractures time had etched into their bones.

He understood it all.

And with the power of Infinite Acquisition paired with the Architect’s divine sight, Igaris began his work. His aura flared softly, wrapping around the machines like threads of golden flame. He moved with slow precision, correcting micro-faults, re-aligning divine engravings, and reinforcing damaged circuits.

Every movement sealed a weakness.

Every breath restored balance.

Until finally, the great seal once again pulsed in harmony, sealing off the gateways to the Spirit Realm and the God Realm completely.

But just as he completed the final adjustment, his vision spun.

In the blink of an eye, he found himself standing amidst a lush, emerald expanse filled with towering beasts. Spirit Trees glowed with light, and the sky shimmered with rainbow-colored clouds. The creatures that roamed this land were majestic and primal, radiating a vibrant, ancient aura.

It was the Spirit Realm.

Then, the scene shifted again.

He now stood upon a floating island, surrounded by countless others drifting in the heavens. Divine palaces adorned with glowing crystal spires hovered gently among the clouds.

There, winged beings with feathers of pure white floated through golden light, singing in celestial tongues that made the very air tremble.

He was in the God Realm.

Then the visions faded.

But the message was clear.

Igaris stepped back from the machine, his expression thoughtful. His eyes reflected quiet fire.

"So you’re granting me the path to reach these Realms..." he whispered, gazing up at the four colossal constructs. A small smile crept onto his lips. "I understand. Thank you for this gift."

He raised his hand in a silent vow.

"For this, One day, I will set you all free. When the crisis across the Three Realms is over, I promise to release your spirits from this burden. But for now... continue your duty."

The mechas glowed faintly in response, as if acknowledging his words.

And the void once again became silent.

He came closer to Evernight and said softly,

"Alright... now that’s over. It’s time to fix the Forsaken Land."

Evernight blinked, momentarily stunned by his words. Then a proud, radiant smile bloomed across her lips.

"You really can do anything, can’t you?" she asked, her voice filled with admiration as the two of them soared across the sky, crossing countless miles in mere seconds.

Igaris gently shook his head, his dark hair brushing against her cheek as he came closer.

"That’s not true," he replied with calm honesty. "There are countless others who are still better than me. Titans that have lived for thousands of years. Gods who manipulate fate like threads. And monsters who defy reason itself."

He wrapped one arm around her waist from behind as they flew together under the silver light of the full moon. The wind whispered around them, but there was warmth in his embrace that pushed away the cold night.

"I need to surpass all of them," he continued, voice steady. "Only then will I be strong enough to protect you... and everyone else who’s put their trust in me."

Evernight’s heart thudded in her chest. The weight of his words, spoken with such quiet conviction, left her breathless.

She leaned her head back onto his shoulder, eyes glinting with tears of joy. The stars stretched out endlessly above them, yet in that moment, she only wanted to stay in the orbit of this one man.

"I believe in you, Igaris. I always have," she whispered.

The moon watched silently as the two soared forward — not as man and woman, but as partners in a rising legend.
