The approaching Titans cast long shadows across the barren wasteland as they rushed towards on Lucian's position.
Each one Titan was slightly unique in it hauntiness.
Some had multiple limbs sprouting from their bellies or back, others had faces not just on their heads but scattered across their bodies like masks embedded in their flesh.
One particularly massive Titan crawled on all fours, its spine protruding through its back in a ridge of exposed vertebrae that resembled the teeth of some primordial sea monster.

Lucian's lips curved into a smile that didn't reach his eyes. The Dragon Soul Devourer hummed in his grip, its crimson runes pulsating with anticipation, almost as if the weapon itself was eager for the battle that was about to occur.
The closest Titan was a Seventeen meters tall monstrosity.
It was the first to reach him and as it got into range, it lunged forward with surprising speed, like a maniac.
Its jaws opened wide like the mouth of a massive snake, revealing massive rows of maws, lined with jagged teeth.
Lucian didn't back down. Just as the Titan's mouth was about to completely envelope him.
There was a thump on the ground as Lucian suddenly moved at the last possible moment, the movement so fast it he left afterimages, as though he had teleported.
"Bang!"
The Titan's massive head crashed into the ground like a truck where lucian had stood, sending a plume of bone dust shooting skyward.
Before the titan could recover, Lucian flew forwards like a rocket and landed on the exposed neck, the Dragon Soul Devourer Spear trembled as its blade cleaved through the Titan's flesh like it was butter, severing its spinal cord and piercing through its brain in a single, devastating strike.
Steam erupted from the wound as the spear drained the titan's essence, the runes along its shaft glowing brighter with each drop of absorbed energy.
Lucian wasn't given any time to savor his kill.
All around him, the massive forms of over a dozen Titans converged, their footfalls creating miniature tremors with each step.
A particularly tall looking Titan that was over twenty-meters tall Titan, was the second to reach him.
It had little to no flesh in its body, exposing its ribs, muscles and bones.
It speed was incredibly fast that each step of its feet crossed over one hundred meters. In just a few steps, it was descend on Lucian with intense bloodlust.
Lucian didn't wait for it to attack. The ground shattered as he exploded forward, his muscles taunted to the extreme, radiating immense force as he shot across the ground with astonishing velocity,
The air molecules around him vibrated violently as he moved, creating a high-pitched whistle that cut through the battlefield.
Immediately the Titan tried to grab him, he immediately struck forward with his spear as he whipped it toward the massive truck like hand like a hammer.
"Bang!
Visible shockwaves scattered in all directions as the hand was redirected sideways.
"Nine Revolving Dragon Spear, Second Move: Piercing Rain!"
The Dragon Soul Devourer trembled in his grip as mana surged through it. The spear's shaft trembled like a dragon awakening as Lucian's wrist and muscles trembled in a particular frequency of the nine spear revolution.
His arms holding the shaft of the spear suddenly thrust forwards and in that split second, multiple spear shadows formed, transforming onto hundreds of shadows as they merged into a concentrated point of pure destructive energy, distorting the very air around it like heat waves above scorching sand.
"BOOM!"
The spear connected with the force of a meteor impact, penetrating through knee of the Titan, destroying it as blood muscles and cartilage scattered with an horrifying visual effect.
"Roar!!"
The Titan's shriek was like metal being torn apart, it toppled forward, its massive frame unable to support itself on the shattered limb.
But before Lucian could press his forward, a shadow fell over him.
A twenty-one-meter Colossus Titan with bones protruding from its back like that of a dinosaur, had moved with surprising stealth.
Its massive fist came down like a falling mountain, the air pressure alone enough to flatten the vegetation around them.
Lucian's face changed drastically. Even though he couldn't die, as far as he knew, If his entire body apart from his chest were crushed, he wouldn't die.
However, he was quite fearful of his skull as well as his heart being shattered. To an ability like his, Lucian figured that there would surely be limitations as no ability is without weaknesses, his included.
In that split second, Lucian gritted his teeth and was about to use the secret move he had thought about in situations like this.
But before he could react, a sudden roar, filled with intense anger and pure rage filled the entire battle
"ROAR!"
In the blink of an eye, an enormous red blur burst forward like a missile, with a massive hammer the size of a large door. Lightning crackled around the massive hammer as Baltzer activated King's Judgement, meeting the Titan's fist mid-descent.
"BOOOOOOM!"
The collision released a shockwave that flattened everything within a two-hundred-meter radius.
Bone dust was blasted away, revealing the ancient, blackened soil beneath.
Lightning discharged in all directions as the hammer's special effect triggered, paralysis racing through the Behemoth Titan's nervous system. Its movements slowed, muscles seizing as electricity coursed through its massive frame.
Baltzer didn't waste the opportunity.
With a reptilian hiss, he leapt onto the Titan's arm, running up its arm like a snake with the hammer trailing sparks behind him. When he reached the shoulder, he swung with such force that the air ignited around the hammer's head.
"BANG!!!"
The Titan's face imploded. Blood, skull fragments, eyes muscles and pasty flesh erupted outward, scattering through the air, to the ground as the hammer shattered its skull.
