"Nowhere left to run, kid," Gristle bellowed, his voice thick with the Berserker potion's rage.
"Bang!"
The ground beneath his feet shattered as he exploded into a massive blur with his cleaver raised high.
"Whoosh!"
The wind exploded, forming a visible cone of air around Gristle as he arrived before Lucian like a ghost.
"Soul Cleaver!"
His voice resounded like thunder as he roared, activating his skills to cleave Lucian in half.
Silk Edge materialized behind Lucian, just a step slower than Gristle. His blade suddenly flashed as a long of blade sliced through Lucian. It was so fast, so silent that it didn't even the air didn't ripple in its presence! It was as though the blade had sliced through air itself!
Lucian's gaze suddenly turned cold and a grin appeared in his face.
He actually didn't dodge the Soul Cleaver move his left leg moved an inch backwards allowing the Cleaver rip through his shoulder.
However, at that moment, his skin suddenly turned a shade of black as Adamantine Scale activated, instantly halving the attack's damage.
If there's one thing Lucian was confident about, it was his physique! After killing hundreds of enemies, receiving thousands of damages, his physique had even surpassed his strength and agility!
"BOOOOM!"
The cleaver sliced through his shoulder. However, it actually got stuck half way through his shoulder!
Lucian's left arm instantly grabbed the cleaver, pulling forward, making Gristle stumble forward, catching him off guard.

The spear tip blazed with golden-red light. The phantom dragon roared, not expanding outwards this time, but focusing its energy into a piercing point.
Lucian thrust forward with all his might!
Gristle's face paled as a feeling of intense danger filled his being. He tried to Shadow Step, but the distance was simply too close.

The spearhead punched clean through the assassin's chest, shattering armor and vaporizing his heart.
The Ghostblade froze, eyes wide with disbelief behind his hood.

The hole in his chest suddenly exploded as his intestine, blood and rib bones splattered in all directions!

Lucian didn't have the chance to admire his work of art, ripping his spear free.
He didn't meet the blow directly. Instead, he activated all his techniques perks.
Dragon's Authority: Each strike carries the overwhelming will of a primordial dragon, suppressing the target's abilities and resistances by 20% (increases with level).
Instantly, the speed and ability of the blade light that was about to pierce through him was reduced by 20%!

Silk Edge's speed was instantly reduced by 15% moreover, his blade attack was also reduced!

Lucian felt the air resistance around him reduced drastically.

One of his arms was severed off by that single strike! Lucian was slightly shocked by Silk Egde's blade strength.
He instantly arrived before Silk Edge and thrust out with all his might.
Silk Edge was furious but didn't lose his cool. Lucian was getting close to him to trade injury for a kill.
But he simply sneered. Lucian was simply too naive.
At that moment, a massive fireball lit up the environment as it flew towards Lucian's exposed back.
It was the last assassin!
Another blade light struck out from Silk Edge's blade. So fast and piercing, piercing towards Lucian's heart.
However, the smile on Lucian's face widened. "Perfect!"
"DING!"
The two attacks collided, sending shock waves rippling though the surrounding, creating a massive crater on the ground.
The blade and the spear stood at stand still, non more powerful than the other.
"BANG!"
The fireball arrived, splashing showers of fire rain as it collided into Lucian's back.

Using the force, the spear and blade stand still was broken as the spear tip actually shattered Silk Edge's blade. There was no way a rare grade blade would withstand the power of a legendary weapon.
Without any obstruction, the spear blade sliced effortlessly the air, stabbing into through Silk Edge's chest.

Lucian coldly sent him flying with a kick in the skull.
Then he turned back towards the last assassin.
The man's jaws were wide opened as though he couldn't believe what was happening and when he saw Lucian's sliced off arm actually regenerating, his turned pale as cold sweat appeared on his face.
"I-I can tell you who—"
"Slash!"
A crimson light passed through the air, slicing through the man and the wall behind him as it soared into the city, fading when it was about to hit the nearby skyscraper.

Lounging gracefully on a valet intact armchair, legs crossed elegantly, was Kyra.
She held a bright red, perfectly spherical apple, munching delicately on it.
Her golden feline eyes watching him with open amusement. Her tail swished gently behind the chair as she watched with interest.
'W-what the hell!? How was she here?'
'Where did she even get an apple from!?'
"Rough night, Master?" she asked nonchalantly, taking another bite of the apple.
"Crunch"
Lucian stared, his mind blank as his mouth opened wide as he struggled to comprehend her presence.
When had she even come out? He hadn't summoned her. He hadn't felt her emerge from his shadow space at all. Had she been watching the entire fight? Munching on an apple?!
"Kyra...?" he managed, his voice hoarse.
"How...? When...?"
She simply smiled, her smile devastating and brilliant than even the morning sun!
"Oh, I get bored just sitting in the dark, Master. Thought I'd come out for some... fresh air." Her tail gave a lazy flick. "Quite the show you put on."
"Crunch."
Lucian felt a headache coming on that had nothing to do with his injuries. This Blood Shadow... was going to be a problem, an extremely powerful but disobedient one.
