"You think washing off the blood in the water counts as proper cleaning with high temperatures?" Qin Liang didn’t even lift his head, but his cold voice carried over. Luo Qianqian looked up, only to see Qin Liang still focused on his writing and drawing, not bothering to look up at her, so she pouted.
She blinked in slight surprise, then scurried to fill the kettle with hot water and waited for it to boil on the stove.
Qin Liang touched his forehead, feeling girl reminded him of a younger sister trying to appease him silently after causing trouble.
"You want to take the college entrance exams this year?" Qin Liang put down his pen and looked at Luo Qianqian, who was squatting in front of the stove with her cheeks toasted red, and he sighed internally.
Luo Qianqian blinked and nodded, "Yes, if I keep messing around for another two years, I’ll forget everything I’ve learned." She stared at the stove, her eyes somewhat desolate.
"I heard you’ve got pretty good grades?" Qin Liang glanced at the documents in front of him, twirling his signing pen playfully.
"Not bad, I guess," Luo Qianqian nodded, then widened her eyes in surprise at Qin Liang, "Who told you that?"

He couldn’t help but smile as he looked at the small rabbit gloves. Even when his own sister was as young as this little cat, she wouldn’t wear such childish gloves. He opened a drawer and gently stuffed them inside before picking up the phone and dialing a familiar number, "Nuannuan, help me buy some high school study materials and send them over, all kinds, I’ll reimburse you later."

Wei Guang heard about the ’big asshole’ from Zhang Jin and went back to the office, finding it humorous.
"Boss, I didn’t know you were into that kind of thing," Wei Guang said with a cheeky grin, lightly poking the person taking their work seriously across from him.
Qin Liang looked up blankly, "What?" Then, remembering the phone call to his sister, he continued to ask, "Isn’t it all for the sake of learning?"
"You can’t let a kid know everything, though." Wei Guang shook his head, disapprovingly.
Qin Liang was confused. The Little One knew right after he had finished the call? Was this eavesdropping? "Some things are none of your business."
"But Boss, this isn’t good for a minor’s mental and physical health. If the Little One..." Wei Guang still wore a face of disapproval as he looked at Qin Liang.
Qin Liang, however, felt that something was off and cut Wei Guang off, "What are you talking about?"
"It’s about your sexual orientation." Could it be more obvious than the ’big asshole’ issue? Wei Guang claimed he could understand, given the lack of contact with the opposite sex, but he was curious about who the object of interest was.
A few strands of black lines slid down Qin Liang’s forehead: "What exactly did you hear?" His voice was cold, more chilling than the wind outside the door.
"What? Isn’t it about you being a ’big asshole’?" Wei Guang was clueless, but he went on boldly: "It’s fine, we can understand. It’s natural for strange things to happen when you’ve been pent up for too long."
Qin Liang’s face turned dark with fury as he stared at Wei Guang: "Where did you hear that from?"
"Don’t take it out on the kid. The Little One didn’t tell me. It was Zhang Jin who complained to me." Wei Guang sold out his friend without feeling any pressure since the Great Demon King was above them, and he didn’t want to directly face a bleak life.
"What did Zhang Jin say, huh?" The voice was like the chilling winter wind, biting cold and fierce as a mountain gale. Wei Guang instantly stiffened, his goosebumps falling to the ground, hair standing on end.
"Zhang Jin said, the Little One called you a big asshole." He quickly repeated what Zhang Jin had said, then Wei Guang took two steps back, opened the door, and quickly walked out: "Boss, I still have training to do, let’s chat later."
