"Alright, I understand." Sophie Wilson nodded.
Things had reached this point, and Sophie had long anticipated it.

"What she told me was that she borrowed the money and asked me to help fend off the debt collector a bit. She listed me as her emergency contact." Sophie sneered.
"Enough!" Cassandra Lee waved her hand, "The matter has been resolved, don’t go around spreading nonsense about this anymore."
"I’m telling you, I’m not dead yet, and nobody in this family should think of stirring up trouble!"
Cassandra’s words made Sophie laugh out loud: "So the high-interest loan matter just gets brushed over ?"
"What else?" Cassandra squinted her eyes, her face wrinkling tightly, as if ready to slap this little girl to death if Sophie didn’t relent.
"Truly a family." Sophie sneered, her mocking gaze sweeping across their faces one by one.
What impressed her was that not one of these four felt guilty. Instead, they righteously stared back at her as if she were the unreasonable one.
Sophie nodded: "Very well, it seems this family doesn’t include me."
"Sophie." Stephen frowned, clearly displeased with what she said, "I love you; your mom, your grandma, and even your sister do too."
"This is just a little misunderstanding. Why let such a small matter harm the family’s feelings?"
Stephen insisted on calling Grace’s scheme against her a small matter, even after Brother Warren showed them the loan video, clearly knowing Grace’s intent, they could still call it a misunderstanding...

"Sophie, wait a minute." Stephen caught up, stopping her, "Your grandma is a bit partial to Grace, but elderly people always have favorites. We’re all family; try to understand her."
"Don’t worry; Daddy won’t let you suffer. You’re Daddy’s beloved daughter too." Stephen’s earnest manner was truly nauseating.
