The phone was silent for a moment, then Kai Bright’s sharp voice came through: "You told her?!"
"Yes." Mentioning this, a barely noticeable smile appeared on Charles Seymour’s lips. ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ɪs ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʙʏ 𝖓𝖔𝖛𝖊𝖑~𝖋𝖎𝖗𝖾~𝖓𝖊𝖙
"Oh come on!" Kai Bright clutched his chest and kept shouting, "Weren’t you always... I mean, why did you tell her this time?"
Wasn’t Charles Seymour always on edge, both hoping Sophie would remember and fearing she would?
How did things progress in just a day?
Isn’t the pace a bit too fast?
"You told her, what was Sophie’s reaction?" Kai Bright pressed further.
Surely she didn’t get so upset that she ignored Charles Seymour, right?
Kai knew how deeply Charles felt about Sophie.
If Sophie got upset and left... well, would he get to see Charles cry?
Kai Bright shook his head vigorously, shaking off the idea of wanting to watch the drama unfold, and let his worry take over.
"Sophie didn’t remember the past events, but she didn’t ask much either." Speaking of Sophie’s reaction, there was such tenderness in Charles Seymour’s eyes that it seemed it could drip out, "Sophie said, as long as the past issues are resolved, it’s fine. Those things won’t affect our future life."
Kai Bright was silent on the phone for a while before he said, "My sister is really something!"
To not delve into such matters, that’s quite carefree.
"Congratulations, brother-in-law, you’ve finally made it through." Kai Bright let out a deep breath, finally feeling at ease.
"Yes." You could clearly hear how good Charles Seymour’s mood was over the phone, and Kai Bright started to laugh, "Alright, I’m relieved now."
After saying a few more words, Charles Seymour hung up the phone, rubbed his phone a couple of times, and his gaze darkened.
For now, if Sophie doesn’t ask, she won’t ask. When she remembers or wants to ask something, he’ll tell her in detail then.
Placing the phone aside, Charles Seymour picked up his computer and started working carefully. Nothing mattered more than getting things done early for Sophie’s recovery.
On the other hand, Sophie Wilson wasn’t as calm in front of Charles Seymour. Lying in bed, she was still pondering over the company matter he had mentioned.
If Charles Seymour was originally an insider from the training camp, then why wasn’t he in the training camp now?

Sophie felt a pang in her heart at the thought of Charles possibly getting injured being an insider and thereby retiring due to injury, like her heart was being kneaded repeatedly by two hands.
Sophie’s thoughts were interrupted by the sudden ringing of her phone. Glancing at the caller ID, her gaze darkened as she answered the call: "Hello, Aunt Taylor."
"Sophie, which room are you in at the hotel?" Clarissa Taylor’s question made Sophie sit up abruptly from the bed, "Aunt Taylor, you’re at the hotel?"
After getting a confirmation from Clarissa Taylor, Sophie gave her the room number, then got up and waited by the door.
Did Clarissa come because she knew the DNA results?
What was she planning to do here?
Although Sophie didn’t have many thoughts regarding her parents, when the time came, she couldn’t help but think more.
The moment the doorbell rang, Sophie opened the door, and seeing a similarly nervous Clarissa Taylor standing outside, she inexplicably relaxed, realizing she wasn’t the only one feeling tense.
"Aunt Taylor, come in and sit." Sophie smiled as she stepped aside to let Clarissa Taylor in.
