Charles Seymour opened his mouth to speak, but Sophie Wilson’s voice came through the phone: "Having you is enough for me."
He was a step behind, caught off guard by her charm, and his ears seemed to feel a bit warm. He replied in a low voice, "Having you is enough for me too."
Sophie Wilson listened and chuckled softly, "I know. Alright, you should rest early too, take your time with those notes, there’s no rush."
"Mm." Charles Seymour responded, but he didn’t really plan to do as Sophie said. With these precious notes in his hands, of course he wanted to finish them as soon as possible.

"Nothing much." Clarissa still felt a bit upset and sighed, "This child doesn’t have high expectations of us."
Mason Wilson nodded in understanding, "After all, we’ve never had any interaction before, feeling estranged is inevitable."
Clarissa glanced at Mason and asked: "You still haven’t accepted Sophie as our daughter, have you?"
Mason was taken aback by the question and gave a wry smile, "Clarissa, I think the mistakes of the past can’t be undone. We can recognize Sophie and make it up to her. As for Ophelia..."
"I thought we had agreed." Clarissa’s face darkened, her gaze turning cold, "Not to disclose our relationship with Sophie for now."
"Yes." Mason nodded helplessly, "I just don’t think Ophelia is that kind of person. We watched her grow up, how could she have such dark thoughts?"
He felt his wife was overthinking Ophelia.

"Grace Wilson is targeting Sophie. She knows Sophie is my savior, so why is she helping Grace?" Clarissa questioned irritably, "And she knows Sophie is in the crew, yet she didn’t mention it to us even once?"
Mason Wilson was left speechless and reluctantly nodded after a long pause, "Alright, we’ll do it your way, and see how things unfold first."
