Clarissa came to visit the set for two days, supposedly to see Ophelia, but she spent quite a bit of time with Sophie as well.
The crew was shocked to see Clarissa with Sophie.
The crew wasn’t oblivious; Ophelia was clearly siding with Grace, who couldn’t see that? Why was Ophelia’s mother so close with Sophie?

There was a lot of private chatter within the crew, and it didn’t take a day for it to reach Ophelia’s ears.
"Ophelia, they say you’re ungrateful." Ophelia’s makeup artist said, cautiously watching Ophelia’s reaction.
Admittedly, the words were harsh, but what Ophelia did indeed showed ingratitude.

The makeup artist rolled her eyes at Grace: "I didn’t make this up, why are you yelling at me? What’s it to you?"
She was Ophelia’s makeup artist, not Grace’s.
"Ophelia, don’t be deceived by some people and ruin your own reputation." The makeup artist turned to advise Ophelia.
From her perspective, all these issues were stirred up by Grace. Why was Ophelia being so good to her?
"Alright, I understand." Ophelia smiled gratefully at the makeup artist, "I’m fine now, you should go take a break."
After saying what she needed to, the makeup artist shot a fierce look at Grace, who was tarnishing Ophelia’s reputation, before leaving.
"Ophelia, I... this Sophie is too despicable!" Grace anxiously tried to explain to Ophelia but didn’t know how to begin.
Now, she knew Ophelia was her only support; she absolutely couldn’t lose her.
Ophelia looked at Grace with a complicated expression and asked, "Grace, are the things you told me true? You’re not lying to me, are you?"
"Ophelia, why would I lie to you?" Grace said in a panic, "It’s all because of Sophie. If she hadn’t taken over my dad’s company and kicked my whole family out, leaving us almost homeless, why would I hate her so much?"
"My parents and I can endure it, but my grandma, at her age, having to live outside, Sophie is too malicious!"
Ophelia sighed softly, "I only introduced you to this acting job. If you perform well, you can quickly earn some money to solve your current predicament."
"I know, I know, it’s because of your good heart, Ophelia, that you’re helping me. It’s all that Sophie’s fault, so despicable. She not only harmed my family but also snatched my role. She’s pushing my family to the brink!" After venting her anger, Ophelia comforted her a bit more, and then Grace went off to film her scenes.
After Grace walked away, Ophelia took out a recording pen from her pocket and carefully put it away.
This was evidence; everything was Grace’s plan to deal with Sophie, and she had nothing to do with it.
When Clarissa and Mason left, James accompanied them. He was afraid Ophelia would worry about her parents, so he volunteered to mention it first to relieve Ophelia’s concerns.
