"I feel like a celebrity." Sophie Wilson whispered with a light laugh into Charles Seymour’s ear, holding his hand.
All eyes around them were focused on the two, which gave them a strangely wonderful feeling.
"Not used to it?" Charles turned his head slightly to ask.
His slight turn made the lines of his face even clearer, and the crystal lights in the room shimmered down, giving him a gentle glow, making him look... even more delicious.
Sophie scolded herself silently in her heart, how could she be so spineless?
She secretly used her fingernail to poke her palm, revealing a confident smile, "What’s there not to get used to? Let them envy us."
Before leaving the house, she had pulled Charles in front of the mirror, and she was indeed stunned by the person reflected in it first.

"Mrs. Wilson, you won’t forget, I don’t have a shred of blood relation with you or your husband, will you?" Sophie was not upset at all and spoke calmly.
She was not angry, but Lily Warren was exploding with rage, "So what if there’s no blood relation? Your father raised you for so many years, even a dog would have developed feelings, you ungrateful brat, you’ll be struck by lightning someday!"
Regarding Lily’s insults, Sophie merely responded with a smile, exclaiming, "Mrs. Wilson, are you standing up for Stephen Wilson?"
"Stephen Wilson? He raised you for over twenty years, and all he gets from you is not even a single ’dad’?" Lily grabbed onto Sophie’s shamelessness and struck strongly, letting everyone around see what kind of person Sophie really was.
"Wild child is just wild child, we shouldn’t have kindly adopted you back then!" Lily cursed fiercely.
Sophie burst out laughing and asked, "Mrs. Wilson, have you obtained a marriage certificate with Stephen Wilson?"
Lily Warren’s face stiffened from the unbearable rage. Before she could react, Sophie continued, "Then wouldn’t your daughter Grace Wilson be an illegitimate child?"
