"Because the clothes need to be washed first before they can be kept for collection," Sophie Wilson said matter-of-factly, then glanced at Charles Seymour, "Why are you reacting so strongly?"
"Collection?" Charles Seymour frowned, not quite understanding Sophie Wilson’s habit.
Why not collect something better, like clothes?
"This is our first set of couple outfits, of course, it needs to be properly kept," Sophie Wilson said, raising an eyebrow, "What? Do you have a problem with that?"
"As long as you’re happy," Charles Seymour said nonchalantly, but the constantly twitching corners of his lips betrayed his inner thoughts.
Sophie Wilson gave Charles Seymour a disdainful look, just let him laugh if he wanted to.
Seeing him pretending to be calm while obviously wanting to laugh made her feel tired for him.
"I’m going to the office today," Sophie Wilson said as she sat down to have breakfast, "I’ll come back in the evening."
"Okay." Charles Seymour nodded.
They quietly finished breakfast, and after Charles Seymour dropped Sophie Wilson off at the company, he arranged a time to pick her up in the evening, before leaving.
Upon entering the company, it was noticeably busier.
The reception rooms were all occupied, and some clients were flipping through their renovation brochures while waiting on the sofas.
The company’s business seems to be doing well.
Sophie Wilson walked in happily and headed straight to Edward Palmer’s office.
Sophie Wilson knocked on the door and, after hearing Edward Palmer say to come in, she pushed open the door: "President Palmer, are you busy?"
"President Wilson, you really know how to joke. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be this busy," Edward Palmer said helplessly, "I’ve been working overtime recently, been driving myself crazy."
Though his words seemed to complain, Edward Palmer was secretly quite pleased.
Overtime means there’s business, business means company revenue is good, and good company revenue means higher commissions for him.
"I saw, things outside are really bustling," Sophie Wilson said with a smile as she sat down. Edward Palmer asked his secretary to pour her some tea, and they began discussing company matters.
No matter what, Sophie Wilson had come back with experience, and was knowledgeable about the renovation industry.
She gave Edward Palmer good advice on many issues, and as he listened, he took notes. By the time they finished talking, it was already noon, and Sophie Wilson didn’t continue to disturb Edward Palmer but instead went out to look for Lucy Wells.
She had been on a filming set recently, and had only been in touch over the phone with Lucy Wells; finally meeting in person, the two of them had an endless amount of topics to discuss.
"...Sophie, why are you looking at me like that?" Lucy Wells asked curiously while touching her own face.
Could it be there was something dirty on her face?
"Lucy, you’ve become a lot more cheerful lately," Sophie Wilson said with a grin, "You’re positively glowing."
"What nonsense are you talking?" Lucy Wells playfully glared at Sophie Wilson, "I’m not a light bulb, glowing indeed."

Sophie Wilson was surprised at Lucy Wells’ thanks and opened her mouth wide, "Why are you thanking me? Your good work just shows how capable you are."
Lucy Wells laughed, "If it weren’t for you giving me this opportunity and encouraging me, I wouldn’t have known I had so much potential."
"Alright, let’s not be so formal, I still need your help with company matters," Sophie Wilson said with a cheerful smile.
