Sophie Wilson pushed open the door, and the warm orange light from above spilled down like sugar with a hint of fresh citrus, enveloping the man whose features were delicate yet cold as an iceberg. Julian Campbell’s eyes widened, full of grievance ready to flood out like a broken dam.
