Ophelia was always considering Clarissa, given that her lifesaver turned out to be such a heartless ingrate, Clarissa probably couldn’t accept it for a while.

"I wanted to talk to her, she refused the conversation." Ophelia shook her head distressingly, stepping forward and gripping Clarissa’s hand, apologetically saying, "Mom, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that when I helped Grace out of goodwill, Sophie would think of me this way."
"After all, she is Mom’s lifesaver. I don’t want to be hostile to her and let her think our family is ungrateful."
"She is now attacking me; I don’t care. But I’m worried she’ll take revenge on our family." Ophelia’s words made Clarissa tremble with anger.
Mason hurriedly supported Clarissa, gently patting her back to help her calm down and not act impulsively.

Clarissa’s face turned extremely grim, as if on the verge of exploding, yet she restrained herself for some reason, making her expression somewhat intimidating. But inside, Ophelia was secretly pleased.
"I have to get to the bottom of this." Mason declared firmly, gently patting Clarissa and encouraging her softly, "Don’t be angry, don’t be angry."
"Dad, her boyfriend is from the Seymour Family, don’t investigate and bring trouble upon yourself." Ophelia resigned herself to reality, feeling hurt yet compelled to compromise, "The online matter will fade over time, it’s nothing."
