"Why are you still here?" Charles turned from his computer, looking at Kai with unmistakable disdain in his eyes.
Kai covered his chest, feeling a faint pain, and helplessly stared at Charles: "Am I just that annoying?"
"Yes." Charles answered bluntly without any courtesy.
Kai sprang up, shoved the chair away, pointed at Charles, and shouted firmly: "Even if you dislike me, I’m staying here. Hmph!"
After speaking, he turned and left. Thankfully, he knew where the guest room was.
He was staying at his brother-in-law’s house, and that was justified!
Kai left quickly as if he didn’t see the not-so-obvious hint of a smile in Charles’s eyes.

"Wha-what’s the matter?" Kai stammered, asking, because this time he truly didn’t do anything.
Why was Charles emitting such cold vibes towards him, and this terrifying chill mixed with murderous intent?
Charles looked deeply at Kai, and just that one look made more than just Kai’s liver tremble; his heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys were all quaking.
Then, without a word, Charles put down the barbecue pork bun and turned into the kitchen.
