"You can try." Sang Wan coldly dropped a sentence and left.
"This shrew! This shrew!" Yumei felt so weak in her legs that she almost collapsed, it wasn’t until the maid came by her side to support her that she took a deep breath and left resentfully.
Yumei originally wanted to go to the peony garden to tell Gu Fangzi about this and to complain and discuss strategies, but then she changed her mind: she was thoroughly mocked and humiliated by Sang Wan. How could she let anyone know of such a disgraceful thing? No way! Nobody except herself could know! Seeing Xiaoshuang’s astonished look, Yumei regretted her slip of the tongue and feeling it meaningless, she forcefully pointed at Xiaoshuang’s forehead, "Too much talk! Let’s go back!"
Having vented the evil frustration in her heart, Sang Wan felt relieved at the moment but later was slightly regretful and uneasy, thinking that this could let Yumei have something to accuse her of in front of her mother-in-law and the young master!
