Jian Xi gave an awkward twitch of her lips and said into the phone, "Wait a moment."
She quickly freshened up and hurried out.
The young nanny at home saw Jian Xi going out with a man and quickly reported it to Jiang Qimeng.
Fu Shengyuan gazed at the woman beside him. Even without makeup, she possessed a natural elegance. Her skin was fair, smooth, and delicate, her lips a soft red. Simply sitting beside him, she was as captivating as a flower in bloom, stirring his heart. "What would you like to eat?"
She wasn’t one for pretense, so she began to order.

Not wanting to impose further after his hospitality, Jian Xi rose to depart.

"You’re revealing this to me so openly. Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell your uncle? He’d fight you to the death."

Jian Xi forced a smile. "Mr. Fu, you certainly have a way with justifications."

The bodyguard hesitated.
Ending the call, Jian Xi tilted her chin slightly. "Let’s go."
Fu Shengyuan’s mood brightened considerably.
「Meanwhile, Si Junyan received a call from a private investigator.」
"Boss, Jian Xi has dismissed her bodyguards. You can teach her a lesson now."
Without hesitation, Si Junyan ordered his men to contact the thugs and tell them to act.
