Xiao Bai repeatedly shook his head: "Forget it, once we make some money, we’ll get you a bigger house first." No sooner had he finished speaking than he turned his head and rushed to the computer in the corner of the living room.
"Quick, quick, while we still have some time, let me try that game."
They had arranged to meet An Zihao in the afternoon, so there was half a day left.
Wan Chu’er was speechless: "You’ve been on a train all day, don’t you need to take a shower or something first?"
Xiao Bai said: "Look at you, girl, you can’t prioritize what’s important and what’s not. This won’t do; it’s a good thing Second Brother is here, otherwise, you would have been sold by someone and still helped them count the money."
She began to doubt whether it was a good idea to have invited this Second Brother over.

Two hours later, Xiao Bai solidly exited the game.
He paced back and forth in the small living room with a grave expression, occasionally shaking his head or nodding, making Wan Chu’er dizzy watching him.
Finally, Xiao Bai stopped. He extended one finger toward the sky, and Wan Chu’er thought he was about to deliver a grand speech.
"Wan Chu’er! Second Brother is hungry, how can you be so clueless? Second Brother is here pondering over our big plans to make money, and being hungry really affects my thinking."
Wan Chu’er felt a bit embarrassed: "Um... what would you like to eat, Second Brother? Should I make some porridge? Or a bowl of noodles? Or shall we go out to eat?"
Her cooking skills were not great; they were fine for filling the stomach but not for pleasing the palate.
During their time in Wutong, she remembered Xiao Bai having breakfast at the County Hotel and lunch and dinner at Jinghua Hotel, apparently a food lover with high standards.
Xiao Bai looked at the clock on the wall. It was 11:30 am. They were supposed to meet An Zihao at 2:30 pm, and they needed to leave by 2 pm.
"Forget it, just make some noodles at home. Remember to make a sunny-side-up egg for me, and don’t overcook it."
Wan Chu’er blinked. How could she make sure not to overcook the egg? This was a delicate task.
She entered the kitchen and busied herself, while Xiao Bai followed, leaning against the kitchen doorway.
"This kitchen is so small, another person in here and you couldn’t turn around."
"Chop some tomatoes, no choy sum, use spinach."
"That’s good, quickly crack the eggs into it, put two, I’m really hungry."
