On reaching the second floor, there was a large hall suitable for entertaining guests or recreation, besides which there were four spacious and bright rooms.
Wan Chu’er opened the door on her right and immediately saw the floor-to-ceiling window Yao Xian had mentioned, which nearly covered the entire wall. She walked up to the window and looked outside, dimly noticing the large lake they had seen before.
Pleased, she turned around to survey the room’s layout; the center of the room featured a large bed, beside which was an exquisite dressing table, and there was a wall-to-wall wardrobe.
It was almost fully furnished, only needing some bedding to be move-in ready.
She then checked the other three rooms, one of which was set up as a study, also bright and spacious.
After finishing viewing the second floor and not seeing Xiao Bai come up, she proceeded to the third floor.
The third floor is a large Practice Room, equipped with a heavy punching bag and some exercise equipment.
As soon as she saw it, she immediately felt this place was perfect for her martial arts training. She wondered who the original owner was, and how the decor matched her preferences so well.
Wan Chu’er stepped out onto the open-air balcony on the third floor, which was surrounded by a circle of plants, with a wicker-style sofa in the center that looked very comfortable and inviting.
No sooner had she thought it than she did it; Wan Chu’er walked over and sat down on the sofa in the middle, gazing out into the distance, the scenery of the neighborhood coming into view.
She enjoyed the beautiful view for a while, then turned her head to look towards the villa on the left, her gaze swept past and she seemed to catch a glimpse of a figure moving behind the glass on the third floor of the left villa.
Wan Chu’er immediately became alert and stared in that direction, watched intently for a few seconds, but then, she saw nothing.
The two villas were about ten meters apart, with various types of trees planted between them.
She couldn’t help thinking that perhaps it was just her imagination, maybe it was just the branches swaying.
Even though she thought this, she wasn’t sure in her heart, worried that someone really might be spying. After a moment of thought, she cautiously stood up and went downstairs to find Xiao Bai.
After Wan Chu’er disappeared from the balcony, three people appeared behind the glass on the balcony of the third floor of the left villa.
It was Old Sir Zhong, Li Shan, and Yan Hui.
Li Shan said nervously, "We were almost discovered by Miss Chu’er."
