Squatting on the muddy ground of the flowerbed, Tang Li pinched the cigarette butt. Her previously restless mood gradually calmed down at the sight of the stub.
Not until a chill crept in did she get up and return to the dormitory building.
After taking a shower, Wu Xuehan came out to find that Tang Li had already stashed the cigarette butt back in the Peninsula Iron Box.
Early the next morning, Tang Li was woken up by the noise in the hallway.
She got up to see what was happening.
Opening the door, she saw that someone was moving in next door.
The mover was carrying a Hello Kitty storage box inside, and two pink suitcases, one large and one small, were placed in the corridor.
"Is it a new teacher who’s moved in?" Wu Xuehan, with her hair in a post-sleep tousle, followed out.
As soon as Tang Li finished speaking, someone came out from next door.
Seeing the person’s face clearly, Tang Li: "..."
Yu Sui shot her a fierce glare and pushed her suitcase into the dormitory.
"..." Wu Xuehan was somewhat shocked, listening to the noise from the next dormitory, she quietly asked Tang Li, "Why is it Yu Sui? Why did she move in next to us? Doesn’t she live with Yining anymore?"
"If you’re curious, you can go ask her yourself."
Tang Li tilted her chin towards next door.

Since they had been woken up, neither of them went back to sleep; they freshened up and headed out to the library.
In the evening, just as they had returned, there was a knock at the dormitory door.
Wu Xuehan ran to open it.
Seeing Yu Sui, she felt a bit at a loss.
Yu Sui with a sulky face, clutching a beautifully wrapped gift box, headed straight inside. Seeing Tang Li coming out of the washroom, her back straightened but her expression slightly stiff, she placed the gift box on Tang Li’s desk on impulse: "For you guys."
"What?" Tang Li looked at the gift box and then at Yu Sui.
Yu Sui showed some impatience: "Why ask so much, it’s for you regardless."
After saying this, instead of leaving, she stood aside.
At this moment, Tang Li, out of politeness, had no choice but to open the gift box.
Yu Sui, not as composed inside as she appeared, watched Tang Li pick up the ribbon-tied gift box. Given Tang Li’s recent attitude towards her, she assumed Tang Li would return the box, but instead, Tang Li untied the ribbon and opened it.
In an instant, Yu Sui felt her heart drop to the floor.
Inside the gift box were bespoke chocolates.
Noticing the various shapes of chocolate, Wu Xuehan’s eyes lit up with delight: "These must be really tasty!"
At that, Yu Sui pressed her lips together.
Seeing Tang Li silent, she "kindly" explained: "They are handcrafted chocolates brought back from Belgium, made fresh the day before purchase."
Wu Xuehan said: "They must be expensive."
Tang Li closed the gift box, looked up at Yu Sui and said, "We accept the chocolate, we’re about to take showers, so we won’t keep you."
"Who cares to stay here with you, I’m busy too."
After seeing Yu Sui off, Wu Xuehan turned around: "I want to have a piece of chocolate."
Tang Li handed her the entire gift box.
"Aren’t you eating any?"
Wu Xuehan asked while biting into a piece of chocolate.
Tang Li pulled out a script: "I’m still on my period, you eat first, just leave a few pieces for me if you can’t finish."
"Actually, Yu Sui is easier to get along with than I thought," Wu Xuehan said, sitting in her chair, hugging the gift box. "Now that she’s moved here, I think we can become neighbors with a good relationship."
