Yu Sui was implicated because of her.
She didn’t mind for herself, but she had to explain it to Yu Sui.

Standing by the bed, he placed his wristwatch on the nightstand but his gaze fell on Tang Li’s small head. Her short hair had grown a bit, scattered on the pillow. When sleeping, she liked to bury half her face into the blanket.
When he lifted the blanket, he discovered Tang Li was sleeping in a spread-eagle position.
Song Baiyan felt a bit of a headache looking at it.
Suddenly, he felt that he shouldn’t have agreed to her.
Tang Li was sleeping in a daze when she felt her hand being pulled. Then, she dreamed that she was being chased in an alley, cornered at a dead end, and a thug was coming at her with a chainsaw to cut off her hand. She struggled instinctively, and her hand slapped against something hard as a rock, the pain shooting through her vividly.
Song Baiyan had just lay down when his back was hit hard by a punch.
In an instant, he was wide awake.
He reached out and turned on the lamp.
Tang Li felt the pain, and the sudden light stabbed into her eyes. She frowned, also waking up. Opening her eyes and seeing Song Baiyan, she remembered where she was sleeping and asked, "Did you just hit me?"
Then Song Baiyan said softly, "Continue sleeping."
Tang Li was wide awake.
After lying there for a while, she gently turned over and asked in the dark, "I didn’t call the police. If I find the thugs who injected drugs into Yu Sui, I can’t do anything to them, can I?"
She knew Song Baiyan wasn’t asleep either.
Sure enough, the man’s voice followed: "What are you planning to do?"
Having her thoughts read, Tang Li didn’t say anything further.

Tang Li said, "You’ve thought it through more than I have."

Song Baiyan pinched her delicate wrist with his hand, not pushing her away, and a head nestled up against his neck.
This shared sleep was a warmth they had never experienced in the past.
After a while, Tang Li’s faint voice came through: "Lying here with you , do you get thoughts of doing something?"
"What are you thinking about in that little head of yours?"
"Thinking about adult topics."
Song Baiyan laughed but was also a bit exasperated: "At your age, you shouldn’t think about things you shouldn’t."
"I’m thinking on your behalf." After a few seconds of silence, Tang Li added, "Actually, I’ve made my psychological preparations, especially after tonight. I’m already of age, and since I know that I love you, if something happens between us, it’s not something I cannot accept."
Song Baiyan didn’t respond to that.
Tang Li continued: "I just want to tell you, in the future, whatever you want to do to me, you don’t need to restrain yourself, I can be responsible for my own words."
Once again, she heard Song Baiyan sigh.
