Song Baiyan embraced her back, his lips curling into a faint smile, so slight it seemed like an illusion, his left hand with the watch wrapped around her waist, while his other hand gently patted her back as if to soothe and reassure her.
Around them, other passengers cast their glances.

He had already passed the ticket checkpoint and had loaded his luggage on the bus.

Tang Li saw the print on the ticket; it was also a bus heading to Lishan this afternoon.
