Rebirth: I Became Mr.President’s Beloved Chapter 519

Chapter 519: Chapter 519: The Second Son, Not a Good Sort

Qin Yueru was about to ask more when Tang Li came back.

Tang Li handed the payment form to the doctor, and Qin Yueru was arranged for a CT scan. Since it had already started, to send the Buddha all the way to the west, Tang Li borrowed a wheelchair from the medical staff and pushed Qin Yueru towards radiology.

Song Jingtian, with his little short legs, followed diligently alongside.

When it was Qin Yueru’s turn to enter the room for the CT scan, Tang Li sat in the chairs in the hallway, and Song Jingtian asked her, “Do you not want to help this grandma?”

Han Jifeng appeared in radiology, stepping into the narrow hallway. The first thing he saw was Tang Li, and he heard her say, “Your elder brother is right, being kind to others is being kind to oneself, especially for children, who should be eager to help. If you see an elderly person fall down on the street, if you can help, you should lend a hand.”

In the hallway, Tang Li patted the child’s head.

Han Jifeng’s footsteps paused.

Standing by in the hallway, his gaze lingered on Tang Li.

She has always liked children and is good with them, and even cats and dogs like to play with her. At least in her dreams, if she found a stray cat downstairs, she would specifically buy cat food to feed it. However, with Qin Yueru’s poor health, it was not suitable to keep pets at home.

A person’s life is long, and rarely can dreams be remembered for a long time.

Yet he clearly remembered the dreams he had had over the past half year.

In that marriage of theirs, which was in name only, he never gave her a child. Thus, when she passed away, she truly disappeared from the world without a trace.

All of a sudden, Tang Li felt something and turned to look over.

Seeing Han Jifeng, she was only taken aback for a few seconds, then she took Song Jingtian’s hand. Since family had arrived, there was no need for them to stay here anymore.

Tang Li handed the CT scan form to Han Jifeng and walked past him, heading outside.

As they brushed past, she heard Han Jifeng’s “Thank you.”

Tang Li didn’t stop, her assistance to Qin Yueru in payment and getting the scan wasn’t out of old affection, but rather because of what Song Jingtian had said. Children of this age have not yet formed their own judgments of right and wrong and are easily influenced by the outside world; she didn’t want to set a bad example in front of the child.

Song Jingtian glanced back, his dark eyes sizing up Han Jifeng.

Meeting Han Jifeng’s deep gaze, the little fellow diverted his eyes, and by accident, his pigtail wig was brushed off onto the ground, revealing his messy short hair.

With just one look, Han Jifeng recognized him.

Not just because he had seen Song Jingtian at Tan Palace a while back, but also because in his dreams, the other had become an Army Commander after reaching a certain age, rising through the ranks thanks to his military merits. Even with an impeached elder brother, Song Jingtian would still win the presidential election and control the country of S for a whole ten years.

In the eyes of most politicians, Song Jingtian was an outright warmonger. Due to his rise to power not long after, the country of S suffered a terrorist attack. He gave a speech in the Senate and House of Representatives that received a standing ovation from all the councilmen. It was after that, he initiated an eight-year-long “anti-terror” war. Even though Song Baiyan’s political tactics were not considered mild, they were not so “wild.”

Han Jifeng stood in front of a corridor window and happened to see the 8-year-old Song Jingtian holding hands and walking out.

In the dreams, after Song Jingtian was elected Head of State, he reopened the impeachment case of his elder brother, Song Baiyan. Whether there was real evidence or it was just an issue he couldn’t swallow, after overturning the case for his elder brother, he purged a large number of political figures, not sparing even those who had passed away from being posthumously scrutinized.

One can only say, this child is not of the kind sort.
