Yu Sui was waiting at the door of the dressing room with a storage bag in her hand.
Seeing Tang Li approaching, Yu Sui immediately stepped forward: “Why did she come looking for you?”

Tang Li was the female lead of “The Brightest Star” and had her own dressing room.

Yu Sui looked puzzled, not understanding the implication in Tang Li’s words.
Jiang Yiniing had previously lived in the Lai Family’s residence, though Mother Wu had kept an eye on the situation for Tang Li, it was considered a private family matter and she hadn’t informed her daughter.
Wu Xuehan had no way of knowing, thus couldn’t tell Yu Sui.
Tang Li didn’t want Yu Sui and Wu Xuehan to be involved in those scheming games, so she rarely mentioned them and simply changed the subject: “I won’t be in the crew this afternoon, I have some things to attend to, no need to follow me, just head home after the shoot wraps up.”
Yu Sui nodded and then asked mysteriously: “Are you going on a date?”
Tang Li glanced up at the mirror.
Ever since discovering the relationship between Tang Li and Song Baiyan, within just one night, Yu Sui had concocted endless “domineering president” scenarios in her mind.
“Is His Excellency taking you out secretly to have fun?”
Before Tang Li could respond, Yu Sui raised her hand and vowed with certainty: “Don’t worry, no matter what you and His Excellency do, I will keep it a secret, I won’t let a word slip.”
Tang Li didn’t deny this guess.
Thinking about registering for marriage, her fingers tightened around her cup.
There was a bit of nervousness, but also anticipation.
Having been through marriage registration once before, her mood was not as bright as it is now.
At 11 a.m., Tang Li finished filming three scenes, changed back into her own clothes in the dressing room, and prepared to leave with Yu Sui. Just as they stepped out of the set, a car parked by the roadside opened its driver’s door, and out came Ji Ming.
Ji Ming had come specifically to pick up Tang Li.
Seeing him, Tang Li didn’t head to the parking lot.
After Yu Sui tactfully left, Ji Ming spoke: “It’s terribly hot, sir didn’t want you to have to change vehicles, so he instructed me to come pick you up.”
Tang Li didn’t hesitate and quickly got into the car.
The car passed through security and drove into the gates of Tan Palace, arriving over forty minutes later.
At this time, it was lunch hour.
Ji Ming, familiar with the place, led Tang Li to the second floor: “Sir may not be finished yet, but the old lady has given instructions. If you’re here, you should go upstairs and eat first.”
In the office downstairs, Song Baiyan closed the document.
Checking the time, it was already 12:27 p.m.
He had just stood up from his chair when the office door was knocked.
Song Baiyan took the tie from the back of the chair, and seeing it was Ji Ming, he asked: “Did you pick her up?”
“She’s already upstairs,” Ji Ming replied respectfully.
Song Baiyan nodded.
He took a few steps outside, suddenly remembering something, and turned to instruct Ji Ming: “Call and confirm with the Civil Affairs Bureau to have them send someone over this afternoon.”
Ji Ming reminded: “You’ve forgotten, you already called this morning.”
He paused briefly before adding: “It was you who had your secretary make direct contact.”
