"What’s the matter, are you hungry?" Qin Xiangnuan teased the little child in her arms. In her previous life, she never had children of her own, and she always envied others who had such small ones. Holding a child in her arms, so tiny and warm, with their crying and laughing, really melted her heart. Even if it wasn’t her own child, she truly liked them.
"En," the little fellow nodded vigorously, with his little nose twitching from time to time.
Qin Xiangnuan thought for a moment, then took a small cup and poured some milk into it, planning to steam an egg for the little one later.
The little one took the cup and started drinking. The sweet taste is something all kids love. And she handed the little one to Jian Zhiqin, who was a bit older, before she went to the kitchen to steam eggs, unaware of Jian Zhiqin’s heart which was almost souring with jealousy.

She steamed two bowls of eggs, one for Jian Zhiqin and the other for the even smaller little rascal.
Soon after, the eggs were ready. She took out two servings of steamed eggs, added some sesame oil and soy sauce, and sprinkled finely chopped green onions on top, then carried the two bowls out.
"This one’s for you," she placed one serving in front of Jian Zhiqin, who happily took it. He felt very proud inside, thinking, see that, Sister is so fair, she didn’t forget that I am here too.
The older one could eat by himself, and for the smaller one, Qin Xiangnuan fed him herself. Fortunately, the small one was quite cooperative with eating.
