She actually quite enjoyed the snow because, decades later, places where snow fell became fewer, and the snowflakes shrank in size. Snowscapes truly were beautiful, but if it snowed too heavily, then someone would truly weep, and she was one of those people.
Entering the kitchen again, she placed the rest of the sauce-coated ribs into the pot, set it on the stove, and there were also the dishes she had left for Jian Zhiqing.
After finishing her chores, she grabbed a bunch of papers, ready to finish them in the system.

She pulled over the system’s transparent panel and looked for cotton.
The cotton was already fluffed, white and soft, and cheap—she could buy it with real money instead of Gold Coins. Qin Xiangnuan thought perhaps it was because it was so cheap that it could not be purchased with Gold Coins, given that the system currently only uses Gold Coins and not copper or silver coins for transactions.
Her own clothes, some big, some small, the smaller ones patched together and their seams repaired with embroidery techniques. Then she began to thread her needle and stitch, and by the time she emerged from the system, nearly an hour had passed outside, meaning she had stayed inside for half a day.
Conghua ran out, wagging her tail at her from time to time.
It was then that Qin Xiangnuan remembered she hadn’t yet fed Conghua.

When she came out, Conghua seemed almost crazed with hunger, following Qin Xiangnuan around, nearly snatching the bowl from her hands.

After feeding Conghua, Qin Xiangnuan took out another piece of clothing, sewing diligently, stitch by stitch, unwilling to enter the system anymore. Time within the system passed too slowly, so slowly that she sometimes started to feel agitated. When Jian Zhiqing returned, he saw the light still on in Qin Xiangnuan’s room. He checked his watch; it was around nine, which was unusual, as the girl normally slept well before nine-thirty.
And Qin Xiangnuan had already heard the footsteps outside; Conghua did not bark, so it must be someone familiar.
