She meticulously described her husband and son’s appearance to Qin Xiangyang, as well as the clothes they were wearing.

Father and son indeed looked very much alike, though Jian Zhiqing’s face looked slightly younger. However, they both had slender phoenix eyes, straight noses, and attractive lips, which never curved upwards, giving the impression of sternness.
Jian Ming rubbed Qin Xiangnuan’s little head with a serious expression, but a trace of tenderness that was not easily discernible showed in his dark pupils.
"Thank you," said Jian Ming. Despite the person being young, he felt the need to express his gratitude.
The father and son sat down and began to eat. Not just Li Qiuhua, but the Jian father and son too, were famished. There weren’t many places to buy food around here, and it became even harder to find with the approach of the New Year. Otherwise, Li Qiuhua would not have needed to send both father and son out in search of food, without anyone else by their side.
Qin Xiangnuan scooped a bowl of porridge for Qin Xiangyang, "Brother, you eat."
