Rebirth in 1986: Unforgettable Regrets Chapter 253

"Just call me Tang Yue," Tang Yue couldn’t help but correct.

Xue Le chuckled, "Little sister-in-law, when will you cook again?"

Tang Yue was approachable, and Xue Yuan became bolder in speaking.

The dishes Tang Yue made last time, everyone in their kitchen benefited, remembering the delicious taste, even better than their cooking.

"I’ve been busy lately, might not have time for now." Tang Yue smiled, had a couple of buns, and then saw Qin Anyu arriving.

Qin Anyu drove over, waving excitedly upon seeing Tang Yue, wearing a white dress today, looking much more normal compared to yesterday.

They arrived at the Xingyao Clothing Store, where yesterday’s clothes seemed to have disappeared, replaced by a batch of clean and fresh clothes. Tang Yue couldn’t help but ask, "What happened to yesterday’s clothes?"

"They were all packed up and given away. Today’s clothes are newly stocked. What do you think? Are they alright?" Qin Anyu grinned at Tang Yue. Since seeing Tang Yue’s outfit yesterday, her taste skyrocketed, and even though the newly stocked clothes aren’t exceptionally outstanding, they were decent.

"Yueyue, don’t worry, these goods are also included in our profits. When we make money, we’ll split it fifty-fifty." Qin Anyu was as happy as a child, pulling Tang Yue to show her the fabric she found yesterday, "Yueyue, after you left, I found this fabric."

Originally, Tang Yue was going to make the light blue floral one, but due to time constraints, she decided to make a white chiffon dress, ethereal-looking, which suited Qin Anyu’s complexion perfectly.

"Sister An Yu, I know where everything is now, but what you need to do now is to dye this hair black and then straighten it." Tang Yue reminded, "Sister An Yu, your skin tone and face shape are especially suited for black straight hair, not this kind..."

Qin Anyu was a classic beauty, and curly yellow hair with a noodle-like hairstyle made her look awful.

"Yueyue, I really hair though." Qin Anyu was somewhat reluctant.

Tang Yue insisted, "Sister An Yu, this hair and hair color, even if you wear the dress once it’s done, it will look mismatched."

"Alright," Qin Anyu, visibly reluctant, left. Before leaving, she looked back at Tang Yue three steps at a time, her attachment evident as if it was a life-or-death farewell.

After Qin Anyu left, Tang Yue started working in the studio.

In her previous life, she always worked in her room, giving her designs to Xu Zhenzhen who would then handle the sales and pay her.

She always wanted a studio, but Xu Zhenzhen liked to say things that discouraged her, so in her past life, until her death, she never had a studio.

Tang Yue took a deep breath, tossing aside the random thoughts in her mind, focusing on making the dress. It was the first dress in the studio, and it had to dazzle everyone.

Immersed in her work, Tang Yue almost forgot the time until a staff member reminded her about lunch.

Tang Yue let the staff buy something casual for her to eat, and then she continued working meticulously.

Slow work yields fine products; Tang Yue strives for perfection in this regard, and her efforts are fully demonstrated.

Having precise measurements for Qin Anyu, Tang Yue is preparing to adorn the gown with some hand-embroidered details to enhance the ethereal feel of the dress.

Hand embroidery is the most troublesome and time-consuming part, but the effect it produces is exceptionally beautiful.

Sitting amidst a pile of white yarn, Tang Yue meticulously embroiders petals onto the fabric, focused and careful.

When Qin Anyu returned, the sales clerk was busy selling clothes; the business today was pretty good with significant changes in style, and several garments have already been sold. Seeing someone enter, the clerk instinctively said, "Hello, welcome to Xingyao."

"What, you don’t recognize your boss anymore?" Qin Anyu teased as she heard the clerk.

"Boss?" The clerk looked up at Qin Anyu, and upon seeing her face, finally recognized her, but Qin Anyu with her new black straight hair seemed like a different person.

"Boss, you’ve become prettier," the clerk excitedly said, circling around Qin Anyu. Just changing her hairstyle and color made such a huge difference.

Hmm, the white dress she wore today was quite nice previously, but after changing her hairstyle and hair color, she looked like a fairy from ancient times, with her classic beauty magnified.

"Really?" Qin Anyu touched her face, a smile overflowing at the corners of her mouth. She had been reluctant to change at first, but after dyeing and straightening her hair, she realized where the previous mismatch in wearing the white dress came from.

Happily, she went upstairs and excitedly spun around before Tang Yue, who was busy with her embroidery. "Yueyue, how do I look in this dress?"

Tang Yue looked up briefly and nodded, "You look beautiful."

"Don’t you find it strange?" Qin Anyu asked, moving closer.

"Not strange, Sister An Yu is naturally beautiful," Tang Yue replied without looking up, planning to apply light makeup for Qin Anyu the next day to ensure she dazzles everyone.

Qin Anyu excitedly chattered on beside Tang Yue, who eventually fell silent, focusing intently on her work to avoid any mistakes.

That evening, when Qin Anyu went home, Grandpa Qin was so shocked his eyes almost popped out.

He and Qin Anhao had often urged Qin Anyu to dye her hair black, but she had refused. They’d had countless arguments over her hair. Today, however, Qin Anyu had secretly changed it, prompting Grandpa Qin to express his concern, "Little Yu, if you are unhappy about anything, just tell Grandpa."

"Grandpa, I’m very happy," Qin Anyu responded, eating a few bites of her meal. "Grandpa, I want to stay at my brother’s racing team’s place."

"Alright, you can stay wherever you want," Grandpa Qin said with a worried face, hesitating, "Little Yu, did something happen recently?"

That Chu family boy isn’t in Jing City. Other than him, who else could have caused such a change in An Yu?

"Yes." Qin Anyu excitedly looked at Grandpa Qin, saying, "I’ve recently made a friend, Brother Mo’s girlfriend, named Tang Yue. I plan to start a business with her in the future."
