The office fell silent for a moment before Ruan Yiyang took the initiative to explain, "Li Yue, your brother-in-law means he wants to buy goods from us to open his own shop as a small business owner, but we are planning on building a franchise model. We can’t break the rules just for him."
Ruan Yiyang originally came to Licheng to look for investment projects, and when he found out about He Nan and Li Yue’s decision to launch a high-end brand, he chose to invest. It was just the right time as Lanyue was in need of financing.
Although he only had twenty percent of the shares, he still had some say in matters.
The brand was just beginning; they couldn’t let one person disrupt the plan.

She stepped in, meeting He Nan’s gaze squarely.

The moment he saw Shen Mianmian, his eyes lit up. The young lady was truly beautiful; with such a face, she could be in films.

"We have," Shen Mianmian admitted sheepishly. "The one at the vegetable market who looked like a little beggar—that was me."
"Ah? It was you?" Ruan Yiyang had only asked casually, not expecting they had truly met.
The last time, Shen Mianmian’s hair was tousled and her clothes looked impoverished, making her seem like a whole different person from now, which is why he hadn’t thought she could be the same person.
