"I’ll go call her." Li Yue volunteered again and stood up. Li Julin glanced at him but didn’t stop him—how could he not know the little schemes in his son’s heart?
But today, no matter who was present, he wouldn’t change his principles.
Unless Shen Mianmian really could get into First Middle School and be assigned to the class under his charge, even then, he wouldn’t give her any special treatment.
As for his son taking a sworn sister, he wouldn’t interfere. His wife and daughter both liked her, and as long as she wasn’t a person of bad character, he wouldn’t get involved in normal social interactions.
Li Yue, with a worried look, entered the study to see Shen Mianmian still writing attentively. Hearing the door open, Shen Mianmian looked up just in time to catch sight of the clock on the wall and realized it was nearly four in the afternoon.

"Definitely, definitely." Li Yue flipped through the pages, nodding repeatedly, "He can’t even remember so much himself, why would he despise you? Come on, let’s go out."
Even if the questions were made up, the fact that she was able to write so much made Li Yue feel quite proud.

"Mianmian, don’t stand there, come sit with us for a while," Xiu Min pulled Shen Mianmian over to sit beside her, patting her hand as comfort to ease her nerves.
Li Julin flipped open the notebook with an unhappy face. Upon a glance, he couldn’t stop reading.
He couldn’t remember all the middle-school exam questions, but he had some impression of them. Seeing them again, he instantly remembered.
The more he looked, the more shocked his expression became, while a hint of amusement flickered in He Nan’s eyes, almost as if he had anticipated this outcome.
After about half of it, Li Julin raised his head and looked at Shen Mianmian oddly, "Do you have a photographic memory?"
