Shen Mianmian was getting surrounded by more and more people, everyone chatting away, but none targeting her intentionally. It was her first time facing such a situation, and she felt somewhat uneasy.
The bell for class rang, and only then did the crowd scatter. She finally let out a sigh of relief.
Zhou Siyu and Wang Jingjing cast a triumphant glance towards Shen Mianmian, by the time it was clear that Teacher Sun must have returned, and this class should be Chinese language.
That meant the first thing Teacher Sun would do when she entered was to announce something about Shen Mianmian, and Zhou Siyu was so agitated that her hands were shaking. Her gaze was fixed tightly on the classroom door, even more eagerly than when exam results were being announced.
As the bell stopped ringing, Li Qiumei, with a box of chalk in hand, walked into the office. She wore a look as if someone owed her millions and stood at the podium, her eyes going straight to Shen Mianmian at the back row.
