Ruan Yiqian choked, after a long pause he said, "If you don’t help me, then I can only visit her a few more times."
"Are you threatening me?" He Nan’s voice grew even colder.
"It’s not easy having found Mianmian, I can’t let her keep suffering outside," Ruan Yiqian stood firm, "you know better how much Mianmian has suffered. I know she is doing well now, but during her hardest times I did not find her. As her brother, I didn’t fulfill my duty, so I must make it up to her."
He Nan stood up, "Don’t impose your ideas on her. Keep your schemes to yourself. She has already been in a bad mood because of you guys lately. If you disturb her again, I won’t mind buying another apartment."
The implication was clear – if Ruan Yiqian went to find Shen Mianmian again, he would buy another apartment to hide Shen Mianmian away, making it impossible for them to find her.
