Although the zombie tide at the E-city base had only lasted one afternoon and one evening, everyone felt as though they had lived through a long century.
The next morning, the well-rested survivors returned to the walls of the E-city base. Facing the undying cries of the zombie tide, they no longer felt the fear and panic of the previous day. Instead, they displayed serious cooperation and hope for the future.

More and more people lined up to take part, and the family gradually became protectors, handing over the main battleground to the survivors of the E-city base who had gotten the rhythm down. They only stepped in to help the survivors when high-level zombies appeared or someone was in danger.
Besides sitting on the city wall using her Special Ability to kill zombies, Su Jin was also replenishing Lu Hao and others with Special Ability power. Zhuozhuo noted something different about Su Jin.
"Su Jin, are you also..."

Su Jin was somewhat disappointed. It seemed that giving birth for Special Ability Users was still painful. She had previously hoped optimistically that it would be different for them...
Seeing Su Jin’s somewhat frightened expression, Zhuozhuo realized she might have overreacted, possibly causing Su Jin some psychological trauma.
"But Su Jin, don’t be scared. Actually, once the pain is over, everything feels better. Seeing the baby makes you super happy."
Zhuozhuo tried to reassure her.

Su Jin was captivated by the baby in the video, not even realizing Lu Hao had walked up behind her.
Lu Hao had been directing the situation on behalf of Lian Jiyue all along, but he had kept an eye on Su Jin’s activities. Seeing Su Jin chatting happily, he walked over in her direction.
Lu Hao’s voice suddenly sounded behind Su Jin, startling both of them.
"How did you get here?"
Su Jin wanted to push this mood spoiler away, but Lu Hao clearly showed interest in the baby video on the cellphone.
Zhuozhuo answered truthfully. She was still somewhat afraid of this man who could burn a thousand zombies in an instant, and she wondered where she had gotten the courage to approach such a man before.
Lu Hao said, though he thought a girl might have been cuter.
Seeing that both of them enjoyed looking at her baby, Zhuozhuo’s face flushed with excitement. What could be more pride-worthy than having others praise your own child?
However, Zhuozhuo didn’t continue talking with Su Jin for too long because she had just used her Special Ability and needed to rush back to nurse.
"You must be tired too, we’re going to head back to rest,"
Lu Hao said, pointing to Lian Jiyue who had already returned to his post.
They had been fighting continuously all morning, and the high-level zombies had almost been completely wiped out. Some higher-ranking Ability Users remained on the stone platform, and with Lian Jiyue’s arrival, they could go back and rest for a while.

What her baby was wearing right now had been made by Sister Li, from the team, cutting up adult clothes into baby outfits, something Zhuozhuo had never even considered.
"I collected some stuff along the way, keeping it wasn’t really useful,"
Su Jin said with a smile.
Huang Yunxiang, holding the baby in her arms like a precious treasure, said, "This child is well-grown, he will definitely be a handsome young man."
"Haha, I hope so, just as you say,"
Zhuozhuo said happily. Seeing that there were no strangers around, Zhuozhuo couldn’t help but ask Su Jin, "Su Jin, you are a Dual-Element Ability User, aren’t you?"
