Only the flames that had suddenly risen were growing larger, and the wild bees knew they were no match and hurried off in a panic.
Bai Junjun seized the moment and agilely climbed the tree. She took out a stone awl to cut off the part of the beehive attached to the tree branches; then, removing her hood, she quickly descended with the bucket-sized beehive.
Li Wenli was still, swinging a long torch until the flames gradually died down. He then caught up with the fleeing Bai Junjun.
Bai Junjun had a good memory and didn’t need Li Wenli to lead the way back to the Misdirection Tracing Array; she ran back unabated.
