Visiting the Man-eating Eagle’s Nest routinely, regardless of the weather, had become their normal, much like going to the market to buy meat.

Bai Junjun replied nonchalantly, obviously not at ease with the belligerent faction.
Lame Man Uncle watched the two of them chatting and laughing as they walked farther away, seeing from their backs an inexplicable sense of a handsome young man and a beautiful girl agreeing to admire the lanterns at dusk.
After a while, Lame Man Uncle suddenly shook his head, finding the thought utterly ridiculous.
He collected his thoughts and told the crowd, "Quickly have everyone who went out come back, and no more running around in the jungle today."
The crowd immediately set about spreading the word.
Meanwhile, Li Wenli and Bai Junjun had already made their way briskly to the edge of the cliff.

The two of them jumped aside simultaneously, rolling to both sides.
The Man-eating Eagle was quite ferocious; it had only shown its head from the bottom of the cliff and saw movement on the ground, attacking immediately with a peck.
