Half an hour later, someone knocked on the door.
Bai Xiao asked cautiously.
"Who is it?"

It didn’t sound like a difficult mission, especially because a group of twenty-something people wasn’t a challenge for them, even if they had weapons, they wouldn’t be anything advanced.
It was just that the place these people were heading to was a bit tricky; it was a public area, and they couldn’t cause trouble at the public conference, which was protected by local forces. If you dared cause trouble, they dared to wipe you out.
"It’s best if we leave immediately, because I’ve heard they’re at the public conference, and it’s easiest to find them there. If they leave the conference, it might be very difficult to find them again," Bai Xiao decided on the spot. She had to resolve this issue once and for all.

Bai Xiao nodded. "I’ll go change my clothes."

She tied up her long hair and wore glasses that were purely cosmetic, making her appear refined and courteous.
"Let’s go, but first, help me take this old man to the hotel where he is staying," she said before departing.
Bai Xiao glanced at the old man.
It was time for the old man to go home.
The old man glared, "I’m not going back. Wherever you go, I’ll go."
Bai Xiao was speechless, "Old man, I really have things to handle, and you shouldn’t follow me."
It really was her bad luck to have such a grandfather.
"Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. I heard everything you said just now. You and these people are going to Myanmar to find Sister Mei, how could you go without me? Whatever you say, I have to protect you," the old man insisted, thumping his chest, refusing to leave.
Shao Ming looked at the old man, thinking to himself, You protect your granddaughter?
Was this a joke?
With all of us gearing up, including the old, weak, and sick, to go to Myanmar to compete, wasn’t this ludicrous?
Without another word, he waved his hand and directly pushed the old man into a car.
Someone had already driven the old man away.
Bai Xiao breathed a sigh of relief; thankfully, this Shao Ming was a capable figure, solving a big problem for her.
