After finishing the topic, the Shangguan matriarch asked to leave.
Ni Cuihua said, “Aunt, it’s late already. If you and Xiaoxi don’t mind that we’ve already started eating, why don’t you stay and have dinner with us.”
Shangguan Xi responded excitedly, “Sounds great Aunt Daya! I love the food at your house!” She had been worried that Ni Cuihua might take her anger out on them because of Shangguan Furong’s behavior!

The Shangguan matriarch replied modestly, “Daya, we appreciate your hospitality.”
Ni Cuihua brought in two new sets of bowls and chopsticks, “We’re all family, there’s no need for you to be so polite, Aunt.”
Ni Yang silently stood up, planning to head into the kitchen to whip up a couple more dishes. She had prepared just enough food for three adults and one child, but now with two more people, they would inevitably come up short.
“Ni Yang, where are you off to?” Shangguan Xi quickly noticed Ni Yang’s movements.
Ni Yang replied, “I’m going to cook a few more dishes.”
“Can I come with you?” Shangguan Xi put down her chopsticks, “This way I could pick up a few tricks.”

They both headed to the kitchen.

Qian Weiye was led to the top floor of a business building.
A figure was seated on the boss’s chair with his back to him, revealing only an imposing silhouette.
Even just the silhouette was enough to strike fear into anyone who saw it!

After all, this man was the famous Mr. Mog!
Qian Weiye’s hands were shaking as he took a handkerchief out of his pocket. He was wiping his forehead, but sweat just kept pouring out, like an endlessly proliferating weed.

Reading what was on that document, Qian Weiye’s knees gave out and he landed on the floor.
