After hanging up, old Lady Zhao headed towards the Buddha Hall in the backyard.

Hearing the engine of the car, old Lady Zhao who was seated in the Buddha Hall knocked on her bead bracelet, then suddenly put down her hammer, stood up, and lit a stick of incense that she placed in the censer.
Old Lady Zhao joined her hands together and devoutly bowed her head.
Meanwhile, Shangguan Furong had fallen into a deep sleep.
Cart Road wasn’t far from the Zhao family house, and Zhao Shen easily found the telephone booth mentioned by Lin Fang. Holding an umbrella, he stepped out of the car.

Recalling how he had just been kicked out of their room by Shangguan Furong, Zhao Shen began to feel angry. In a fit of what felt like revenge, he embraced Lin Fang, dropping the black umbrella to the ground. The icy raindrops instantly soaked their clothes.
On Lin Fang’s face, a smug smile curled up at the corner of her mouth.
Zhao Shen couldn’t escape from her grasp after all.
“Thank you for coming, Brother-in-law.” Lin Fang choked out.
“Get in the car, I’ll take you home.”
“Okay.” Lin Fang nodded.
The two got in the car and Zhao Shen handed Lin Fang a dry towel, “Wipe your face.”
“Thank you, Brother-in-law,” Lin Fang accepted the towel and then asked, “Can I call you by your name?”
That question carried a deep implication.
Zhao Shen fell silent, “Furong is older than you, it’s better if you call me brother-in-law.”
At his words, although Lin Fang’s face showed disappointment, she did not feel disheartened in her heart.
Zhao Shen hadn’t pushed her away earlier, indicating that he was wavering.
Some things, had to be taken step by step.
Zhao Shen started the engine to leave. Just as the car reached the foot of the building, Lin Fang said, “I don’t want to go home.”
“Then where do you want to go?” Zhao Shen turned his head to look at Lin Fang.
