Eveline's mind went blank and she rooted still on her stand. With her eyes wide and her fingers gripping the edge of his shirt, she was frozen by the impact.
'What the hell is happening?' She yelled into her head, oblivious to the way her body was responding to the kiss.
Gabriel was astounded by his audacious move as well, but as soon as her warm, soft lips touched his, all of his doubts disappeared, and he slowly closed his eyes and let his first kiss take hold of him.
It was like how he always imagined seeing Eveline's plump, heart-shaped lips. They were juicy and red like cherries, and not to forget the fragrance she produced; it got him eager.
He could feel her tremble as he slowly parted his lips and took her bottom lip.
Gabriel sensed it was entirely new for Eveline too, but he couldn't resist the feeling his heart desired the moment he tasted her. He began to yearn for more.
'Was she always this tempting or is my mind playing games?'
Eveline felt a chill run down her spine as he kissed her slowly and steadily, his mouth nibbling her lips.
It was not what she had anticipated, something she had never received before.
Gabriel had always been harsh and in charge, rather than kind. He would kiss the life out of her, making her cry over the intercourse they had without an ounce of love in it.
He was inebriated both of the times they slept.
Eveline did not remember how she ended up with him the first time, but when they slept together the second time, she saw Gabriel's darker side, and it shattered her heart.
Her eyes started to well up with tears, and she gasped for air.
The trauma from her past life was too much for her to handle that she could only feel disgusted by his touch.
She used to beg for his love, but now she detested him so much that even their proximity bothered her. make her puke.
Mustering all her courage, Eveline pushed Gabriel with all her might and gasped.
Gabriel staggered back after being knocked down, and the last thing he remembered was a stinging pain across his cheek.
Eveline didn't think twice before slapping Gabriel. It was unexpected but she felt disgusted when he forcefully kissed her just to prove his point.
"Don't touch me!" Eveline yelled with all her might and turned to leave leaving the shocked Gabriel rooted on his stand.

Eveline left the room in a state of disarray, tears continuously falling from her eyes. She couldn't believe she just slapped Gabriel and not for once regretted her action.
Standing there for a while, Eveline wiped off the tears from her face and composed herself before turning away and heading towards the classroom.
Not long after her departure, Gabriel also stepped out. Although there was no emotion on his face, the pain he was experiencing at the time was visible in the redness in his eyes.
Gabriel felt a wave of rage rush through him as he darted his gaze toward Eveline. He mentally relived whatever had transpired inside, and without further delay, he turned and departed.
While everything happened, there was a certain person who kept notes on the couple hiding behind the wall.
Tiffany, who had followed Eveline out of the restroom sooner, saw Gabriel drag her into the storeroom. Although the scene was unexpected, it also inadvertently allowed her to see how deceptively Eveline had spoken to her.
Her eyes darkened upon realizing this, and she proceeded cautiously in the direction where Eveline was headed.

"Where did you disappear all of a sudden?" Stefan inquired as he watched Gabriel enter the locker room. Nevertheless, Gabriel chose to ignore him, walk by, take his clothes, and head into the changing room.
Stefan noticed something was off, so he decided to wait for Gabriel to step out.
"Is everything okay? You seem pissed" Stefan asked as soon as he saw Gabriel walk out.
Gabriel ignored Stefan and continued to stuff his jersey into his locker. His mind couldn't stop thinking about the kiss he shared with Eveline, but what got him annoyed was the slap he got in return.
"Gabby? I am asking you something." Stefan noticed the aggression taking over Gabriel's demeanor actually got him cautioned as to what had gotten into him when suddenly a loud bang startled him.
Gabriel slammed the door shut and looked at Stefan angrily
"What is the matter, Stefan? Why can't you be quiet for once?" Gabriel yelled, startling Stefan into incredulity.
Gabriel was in no mood to talk to anyone, not even Stefan, who had always been there to listen to him despite his hesitancy.
"Okay, if that's what you want, but hear me out. I will be leaving earlier since we are not required more in the college anymore" Stefan said giving in to Gabriel's words that got him frown.
"What do you mean leaving?" Gabriel asked.
"Remember about the internship. I will be joining it today" Stefan said with a least excited expression causing Gabriel to widen his eyes.
"You agreed, already" he asked, unsure of how he should react.
Gabriel was aware of Uncle Marcus pestering Stefan to do an internship in their company before taking over the business, however his dear friend was still skeptical and told him give him some time.
However him joining the company came as a surprise to him.
"I already gave them a nod despite my hesitation and now I can't back off" Stefan sighed leaning against the locker.
Stefan had no clue what he wanted from his life. It was unsettling to assume such a great responsibility, but he was confident in his ability to fulfill his promise to his parents.
"Are you sure, since there will not be any pretty girls there? Your time would be dull," Gabriel said, attempting to lift his spirits.
Stefan straightened up and prepared to leave, saying, "Sigh, what can I do now that I have already agreed."
"That is why I have to get home as soon as possible, or else you will see my Dad here."
Gabriel chuckled as he watched Stefan leave, remarking, "By the way, nice lipstick," and his smile momentarily stopped.
