Outside the room, Fang Manxue was still waiting for Bai Qinghao to chase Fang Xinxin out.
She sharpened her ears and focused all her attention on listening in to their conversation.
Earlier, she had vaguely caught Bai Qinghao saying he would kill Fang Xinxin. His words had left her in a state of excitement, and she waited in anticipation for the gunshot noise.
It would be best if Fang Xinxin was directly shot to death.
She would then pretend to have deep feelings for her sister and help him settle Fang Xinxin’s corpse.
To her surprise, she did not hear any other noise post that.
Fang Manxue was worried. Could it be that Fang Xinxin had snuck under the sheets to seduce Bai Qinghao into doing that?
The more she thought about it, the more worried she became. She absolutely could not allow Fang Xinxin another opportunity to do it with Bai Qinghao!

Fang Manxue took two steps back and prepared to charge ahead. She readied herself for the impact against the door. To her surprise, before she even came into contact with it, she received a firm blow against the back of her neck. The bodyguard had knocked her out.
“My apologies, Miss Fang.” The bodyguard caught her body and spoke softly. “I’ll lose my head if you disturb my boss again.”

Fang Xinxin had entered the room quite some time ago and was not thrown out.
A man and a woman were alone in the room. Who knew, Fang Xinxin could be rolling about in the bed with his boss right now.
He would be asking for death if he allowed anyone to disturb them.
He waved at one of the Fang family’s maids and passed Fang Manxue to her. He lowered his voice and said, “Take her away.”
The maid held Fang Manxue up. “This…”
“Softer.” The bodyguard gestured for her to hush. “Boss is resting.”
The maid nodded in understanding, and asked him in concern. “Did you knock our second lady out? Should I call for a doctor?” If it had been the third lady that had been knocked out, she would not have cared in the slightest.
This was because in the Fang family, Fang Xinxin’s position was even lower than that of a maid’s. But the second lady was different. She was the apple of Director Fang’s and General Manager Long’s eyes.
The bodyguard responded coolly. “There’s no need. I controlled my strength. She will be fine when she wakes up.”
After all, she was his boss’s future sister-in-law. They would soon become relatives. He did not wish to offend her unless it was absolutely necessary.
The maid relaxed and took Fang Manxue to a room to rest.
