Fang Xinxin questioned her. "Are all your helpers on leave today?"
"No." Sun Jiamu frowned. "You didn't see the helpers?"
"Very clearly, Feng Dongkai added sleeping pills to your water and sent the helpers away," Fang Xinxin concluded.
Through the time they had spent together, Fang Xinxin had learned that Sun Jiamu was not a careless person. Since she had promised not to become intimate with Feng Dongkai, there was no way she would give him the opportunity for it to happen.

Fang Xinxin decided to admit it. "You're absolutely correct."

"You!" Feng Dongkai was nearly trembling in anger. There had never been a woman he had failed to obtain.
He was just about to succeed once more when an ugly Fang Xinxin appeared out of the blue. It truly drove him to anger!

Sun Jiamu leaned back against the bed frame. She first glanced at Fang Xinxin before turning to Feng Dongkai.
She said weakly, "Feng Dongkai, if Fang Xinxin doesn't like you and wishes for us to break up, in that case…"
"Stop interacting with her in the future." Feng Dongkai urged. "She's just a friend. You can always make more. But I'm your boyfriend. In the future, we will be married and we will spend a lifetime together. You can't give me up for a friend."
Fang lifted her brows. "Jiamu, go ahead and say how you feel."
Regardless of whether or not Sun Jiamu intended on giving up their friendship for this bastard, just based on the way Sun Jiamu had treated her all this while, Fang Xinxin decided she would not allow her to be with Feng Dongkai again, or for the same tragedy to repeat itself.
Sun Jiamu was silent for a moment before she reached out to hold Fang Xinxin's hand. She spoke apologetically to Feng Dongkai. "Dongkai, I'm sorry. To me, Fang Xinxin isn't just a friend. She is the only person who sincerely cares about me. I believe that there are always reasons behind her actions.. If I have to make a choice between the two of you, I would choose her."
