Fang Xinxin asked him. "Do you know something about Bai Jingrou?"
"I'll tell you if you promise to be my girlfriend!" He offered.
Fang Xinxin could not be bothered to deal with him. She glanced at the cup in his hands before looking at him. "You should be thankful that Bai Qinghao isn't home right now, and that there aren't any maids in the living room. Otherwise, Bai Qinghao would have dealt with you before I could do anything to you."
"Hmph!" Did she think he was a fool? He had carefully chosen this opportunity to speak to her.
But Jiang Xingnan did not hurt her. Instead, he even warned her to be wary of Bai Jingrou. Thus, she decided not to be offended about him kissing the cup.
She then left for her company. Jiang Xingnan found it meaningless to stay there any further and also left.
An hour later, she received a message from Bai Qinghao: [Xinxin, are you free tomorrow? I… wish to take you to the Bai family's old mansion.]
A hint of joy flashed past Fang Xinxin's eyes as she read his message.
She responded almost immediately: [Sure.]
Bai Qinghao, who was currently in the Sheng Shi Group's CEO's office, read her message nervously and then sighed in relief.
God only knew that he had been hoping to take her back to the Bai family more than a year ago.

He kissed the image gently and began speaking slowly and heavily. "Xinxin, will you marry me?"
He had repeated these words countless times in his heart.

The next morning, Bai Qinghao did not head to the company. Instead, he handled his work from Yu Ting Villa's study.
He completed the tasks by 10:00 a.m. and immediately asked Butler Zhao, who was waiting outside the door. "Where's Fang Xinxin?"
"She is in the dressing room next to the main bedroom," Butler Zhao responded respectfully.
Bai Qinghao rushed upstairs and pushed open the door into the dressing room. He saw that Fang Xinxin was dressed in a lilac dress that went past her knees. Her hair was tied into a bun and she had applied a thin layer of makeup. As a result, she appeared even more gorgeous than she normally did.
She was taking in her own appearance through the mirror. When she saw him enter, she immediately turned around. "Bai Qinghao, do you think it's alright if I head to the Bai family's mansion dressed like this?"
"You can do whatever you like." His gaze was filled with love. He brought her into his arms and nibbled on her ear softly. "My Xinxin looks beautiful no matter what she wears!"
She pushed him away gently and whined. "I'm asking for your opinion! Tell me."
"It's very suitable." He sized her up carefully and found that the more he looked at her, the more beautiful she appeared. "The next time we return to the Bai family's mansion, there's no need to put in this much effort. You can dress however you like."
She lifted her chin and looked at him. "I'm doing this because you're important to me."
