With her slow pace, one round around the villa would take her thirty minutes to complete.
Fang Xinxin began her morning run. Several hundred meters in, her overweight figure was panting badly.
For the sake of losing weight, she could only grit her teeth and persist. Whenever she lost the strength to run, she would walk. After recovering, she would continuewith her run.
Bai Qinghao stood on the second floor’s study room balcony. His cold gaze was fixed attentively on Fang Xinxin’s figure as she alternated between running and walking.
His bodyguard, Liu Li, stood behind him.
Liu Li thought darkly to himself. “That woman is so fat. What’s so interesting about her? Boss’s taste is really too unique.”
Liu Li wanted to ask him. “Boss, are you attracted to fat women? If you are, I can help you bring more of them here.”
Bai Qinghao noticed that Fang Xinxin was drinking cold mineral water in between her runs and frowned subconsciously.
Two hours later, Fang Xinxin returned to the villa’s living room covered in sweat.
Ji Qing, the maid, immediately brought forward a clean towel.
Fang Xinxin received it and wiped herself dry.
The dining room had already prepared a feast for breakfast.
She scanned the place. “Where’s Bai Qinghao?”
“The young master has gone to the company,” Ji Qing responded.
“Oh.” She picked up a french pastry from the dining table and bit into it.
Ji Qing then spoke up expressionlessly. “Miss Fang, in the future, please do not drink cold water when you run in the morning.”
Fang Xinxin glanced at her. “You don’t seem like someone who would be concerned about me.”
“Young Master instructed me to say so.”
“I see. He’s that concerned about me.” Fang Xinxin felt that her breakfast today was especially sweet.
After breakfast, Fang Xinxin changed into a different outfit. She made sure to cover herself from head to toe, revealing only her eyes and left to collect her prize. After twenty percent of the sum was subtracted for tax, she had the lottery center transfer the rest of the money to her account.
Post that, she visited a public restroom to change her clothes and took a cab back to the Yu Ting Villa.
She was really enjoying living at Bai Qinghao’s place.
She strolled along the villa’s garden. As she neared the main mansion, she saw that Bai Chenxi was standing on one of the cobblestone paths beneath the shade.
He was wearing a pink t-shirt with a v-neck collar and had paired it with casual white pants. His figure was slender and tall. Accompanied with his handsome and gentle features, he appeared to be a refined man.
In the past, whenever Fang Xinxin saw him, she would often stare at him dazedly.
Right now… all she felt was disgust.
Fang Xinxin pretended not to see him. She did not take a different route though, and walked directly past him.
Bai Chenxi had intentionally positioned himself under the shade, where a little sunlight could reach him, making him appear especially attractive.
Originally, he thought Fang Xinxin would reveal her lovesick expression as soon as she saw him.
In the past, didn’t this hideous woman always behave like that?
Much to his surprise, Fang Xinxin walked right past him.
He stared at her for more than ten seconds, waiting for her to look back. As the distance between them grew, she still did not show the slightest hint of slowing down.
Hence, he had no choice but to speak up. “Fang Xinxin…”
But the fat woman did not halt and entered the villa’s living room.
He furrowed his brows in disdain. Could it be that the disgusting woman did not hear him?
He could only head into the villa’s mansion.
Inside the living room, Bai Chenxi saw that Fang Xinxin was nowhere to be found. He asked one of the maids standing there. “Where’s Fang Xinxin?”
“She went up to the main bedroom on the third floor.”
Without permission, Bai Chenxi could not go up to the second or the third floor. “Please tell her that Bai Chenxi is here to visit.”
He did not know where to vent his anger.
In the past, whenever he made a call or left a message, Fang Xinxin always dashed out to see him.
