The next day, the Xu Family and the Su Family set out early in the morning.
Originally, it was Su Lie who went to find a car, but Pei Yicheng volunteered to take on the task. He directly rented a minibus, which was just right to accommodate their whole family and didn’t feel cramped, allowing everyone to chat along the way.
When leaving the village, Xu Qinghe and his wife packed a lot of food for Xu Nianhua and her siblings, mostly Xu Nianhua’s favorites, almost filling up the bus. It was Xu Nianhua who said: they were going to Hai City before returning to Ningbei, so taking too much stuff wouldn’t be manageable.
