"Yesterday, how come you drank so much? Didn’t you say you were going to get Pei Yicheng drunk?" Fang Manyin looked at Su Lie with a face full of curiosity, originally she was going to go yesterday, but Su Hong’en needed to buy art supplies, which delayed them.
Su Lie cleared his throat and changed the subject, "What time is it? Should we take Nianhua to school now?"

"What, I’m not allowed to say it?" Jiang Wanru glanced at him and said, "Eat your congee, keep it light."
"I’ll peel shrimp for Manyin." Su Lie, looking at the shrimp on the table, very considerately peeled shrimp and poured drinks for Fang Manyin.
The gesture startled Fang Manyin, and she suspiciously looked at Su Lie and asked, "Did something happen to you?"
Su Lie felt like his heart was stabbed, as if he’s not been good enough to his wife. He cleared his throat and said, "Manyin, I’m peeling shrimp for you to be good to you, how is that something’s happened to me?"
"But you never peeled shrimp for me when we were dating," Fang Manyin muttered quietly, then whispered, "Tell me, did you do something that let me down?"
Sitting across from them, Xu Nianhua couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing this.
Jiang Wanru gave Su Lie a glance and said, "Manyin, don’t worry, if he dares to do anything to let you down, I’ll break his legs!"
Su Lie looked innocent: he just wanted to be a bit nicer to his wife, is that wrong too?
