Pei Yicheng glanced at the crowd, packed tightly together that even their car felt congested as it passed by. He gently pressed the brakes, planning to slowly make his way through.
"That girl got hit pretty badly."
"She’s not going to die, is she?"
"She looks so young, what a pity."
"How did that person even drive onto the sidewalk and hit someone?"
"Reeks of alcohol, definitely drunk."
"If it weren’t for that utility pole, even the wall wouldn’t have survived."
The intermittent voices of the onlookers reached Pei Yicheng, who at first didn’t care much, only thinking about hurrying to Medical University to pick up Nianhua and Yining. As for the traffic accident, as a passerby, he could only sigh and wonder why a driver would get behind the wheel after drinking?

Pei Yining, her mind in turmoil, paced back and forth at the door of the operating room.
"The patient has Panda Blood, and there’s not enough in our blood bank. Who among you is a relative of the patient?" The nurse came out of the operating room, her face etched with anxiety.
