"Blockhead," Ji Shuqin couldn’t help saying upon seeing his silly expression, "Nianhua’s classmates are all university students, they’ll definitely be fine in the future."
Cai Shuxue blinked at Ji Shuqin, thinking: The girl is outstanding, but she might not necessarily fancy him.

"Sure, sure, let’s go have dinner now," Xu Nianhua immediately called everyone to go to a nearby restaurant for dinner.
With Ding Guo’s interruption, the earlier awkwardness instantly vanished without a trace.

Apart from Ji Shuqin being older, everyone was about the same age, so the conversation was very casual.
Ding Guo loved to talk and she kept the conversation going at the dinner table without any lulls.

Pei Yicheng kept serving Xu Nianhua dishes she loved to eat. When her hands got greasy, he placed a napkin in front of her. Despite being at a lively table with many people, their low-voiced conversation made it seem like the others didn’t exist.
