Sister Xiang led her to the second floor, pointing at a row of rooms on the east side, "All of these are empty; you can choose any one you like."
Meng Chuyue opened one to look inside and discovered that the layout was that of a one-bedroom, one-living room, and one-bathroom apartment style, but without a kitchen. She said, "It doesn’t matter which one, but are there any with kitchens? I’d like to cook for myself."
"The one on the far end has a kitchen, but it’s empty inside and needs to be furnished, so you’ll have to eat lunch with us today."
Under someone else’s roof, even without a kitchen, Meng Chuyue couldn’t do much about it, so she was quite content and nodded happily, "Okay."
