Yang Liu was beside himself with anger, pointing at Sun Chan, "You’re actually kicking me out? Do you need a beating?"
Zhao Jieyun frowned, "What are you saying? How can a girl talk so rudely?"
"Mom! This woman is really bad..."
"I think you’re the one without manners!" The woman apologized to Sun Chan, "My daughter is being childish, please forgive her. I’ve spoiled her too much."

Sun Chan sneered, "I didn’t luckily escape anything; I hadn’t done anything wrong in the first place. What do I need to escape from? Just because your parents are in the military doesn’t mean you can bully people at will, does it? If you run into another Su Miao, you might really end up in jail, right?"
"You saying ’bitch’ and ’country bumpkin’ every other word, who’s the uncultured one here? I came from the countryside, but I haven’t wronged you, so why keep cursing me? Even if you have connections, the army won’t back you without principle; last time was proof, wasn’t it?" Sun Chan rarely spoke so aggressively, but she was unwilling to tolerate this girl’s behavior any longer.

"Yang Yun!" Zhao Jieyun pulled her daughter back, giving her a few punches on the back.

"You’re becoming more and more outrageous! Who taught you to have such low manners!? You’re embarrassing me."
"Shut up!" Zhao Jieyun scolded her daughter, then apologized to Sun Chan and Yang Liu, "I’m sorry, my daughter’s in a bad mood and just spouting nonsense. I’ll buy something next time, we’re leaving now." Zhao Jieyun felt humiliated and had no face to stay, dragging her daughter away briskly.

She felt humiliated and when they reached the street without anyone around, she slapped her on the face fiercely.
